Ben was relaxing on the couch, watching TV and eating chili fries. He had about two hundred dollars left in his wallet and no plans for the day. Suddenly, a strange blue portal opened in front of him. The air around him twisted, gravity pulled upward, and before he could react, Ben was sucked straight into it.

Ben landed face-first on soft grass. He groaned and slowly opened his eyes, spotting a tall guy with bright orange hair staring down at him.
"You're awake," the stranger said. "You fell out of nowhere and passed out. I brought you to my place."
Ben blinked. "Uh… thanks? Where am I?"
The orange-haired teen crossed his arms. "Karakura Town. Name's Ichigo Kurosaki. Who the heck are you?"
