Without wasting any time, the creature roared and pounded towards Zack, using the other little floating rocks as jumping platforms to leap in a zigzag pattern, trying to confuse the young man in front of him while increasing its own speed. As the creature grew harder to track, it suddenly jumped from a random direction and thrust its claw forward, aiming at the young man's neck.
Zack was ready. He pulled a small device from one of his pockets and crushed it. From Zack's perspective, time slowed for one second. When the claw was nearly at his Adam's apple, he dodged it and swiftly took out another device, blasting it into the ground. I only have few seconds before the smoke power gets half, better catch him before that, as Zack thought while he wore a weird goggles.
"Tsk! He used a one-time device on this stupid dog," an irritated voice sounded from afar. "I will empty that witch's treasury for compensation."

Sensing the thinning of the smoke, he tried to grab the little creature with his last best effort. But sensing danger and thinning of the smoke, he roared, and suddenly its tails glowed. Its fur stood up from its body, and it released a strong gust of wind that made the smoke fly away.

With most of its power gone, the smoke flew in all directions. Seeing this, everyone covered their noses.

With several clashes going on, the creature suddenly retreated back and, using its tails, tried to float away from Zack. Seeing this, his eyes narrowed. Then he heard a strong sound of wind with lots of rumbling. He turned his neck halfway to look back, and there he could see a very strong gust of wind coming, deflecting the rocks in bizarre manners. From the corners of his eyes, he could also see some rocks going toward the city below, which got obliterated because of the shield dome.
Seeing this, Zack touched the heels of his shoes, and the soles got very heavy with long spikes on them as they drilled into the ground while he lowered his center of gravity. With the same action, the others also fixed their places.
Alfie just took his daggers out, planted them into the rock, and held on while lying low.

With just a nick of time, he dodged the blue flame, which on contact with the rock blasted a lot of debris, with smoke filling up the area around Zack.
The animal, visibly at its last energy, breathed and floated in the air. But suddenly, out of nowhere, a punch came through the smoke and hit its belly, which made it fly into the air and send him even farther due to the residue of the strong gusty wind.
