"Ho ho ho, I'm the great lady, bow before me!" As I said to myself in the mirror, then my maid walked in, "my lady your knight has been decided." I looked over to the maid, "alright I'll be right down Caroline." My maid Caroline has been with me since my late mother passed away when I was younger, she's my right hand. I jumped out of my chair racing towards the door busting through it and going "Woohoo!" Running through the hallway of the estate towards the training yard of our knights, getting closer to the doors that lead outside, I stop and reform my dress to perfection for a lady. Then gestured to one of the servants nearby to open the doors for the lady of the day, me, the cutest and most prettiest lady of them all. The doors flung open and there stood him the one and only knight I'll ever have. I gracefully walked over to this new knight and asked him "Do a courtesy and tell me your name knight." He got on his knee taking my hand and saying "The name is Phalton my lady" then kissing my hand right after. He's such a knight that my mind is going crazy, like his looks don't get me started, are off the charts, oh wait he's looking at me. "Oh yes a perfect name for my knight, well then I'm off now." No one told me about his beauty, why did no one tell me his looks are on par of a prince!
Day's went by with me staring out many windows wherever he went. I've learned his daily pace, I've even got a few sneak peeks under those clinging clothes of his. If only he wasn't my knight I would fastly marry him right away, oh saddening emotion I'm in. "My Lady, you've been invited to the Lady Guiyan ball." Wait, LADY GUIYAN "Say that again do you mean THE lady Guiyan?" Caroline simply nodded at me, handing over the letter, "bring me my letter opener immediately." I pace around the hallways waiting for the letter opener, but why did Lady Guiyan invite me of all people? This is very puzzling, she has no reason to invite a lady who hasn't had their debut to society, she never has, why would she invite me? Finally Caroline brought the letter opener, I quickly ripped open the letter immediately reading it. A week from now I have to attend a ball now? Not a tea party but a ball. "Caroline, prepare a dress immediately for a ball you have for a week." Caroline simply nods like always, "of course my lady we will have it done." Now should I get back to watching my darling Phalton. Oh my at this point I'll have to get him bigger clothing, his clothes are clinging to his body at this point, I'm head over heels for him.
A few more days passed by like nothing, me watching over Phalton like a mad woman in love, an entire drawer was filled to the brim with love letters. If he were to ever know about the misconduct I am making I would feel horrid, after all a normal person would never do this, unless in love. He might only be my knight but those looks make me want to follow him everywhere, when I was drooling over him in thoughts Caroline rushed over to me grabbing me and saying "My Lady did you forget about the ball already if you don't start getting ready now you'll be late!" My eyes went wide, wait what day is it, oh no it is today, me and Caroline rushed to the dressing room. The maids quickly undressed me and put on my brand new dress, did my makeup in a flash, put my hair up to a beautiful mixture of braids and not. Quickly rushing out of the dressing room, bursting through the front doors, both my father and Phalton were standing next to the carriage waiting for me. "Father, I'm sorry I got lost in thought!" "It's fine honey, you look even more beautiful today." "As your knight I'm glad I can serve such a beautiful lady like yourself." It caught me off guard, I mean my father saying I'm beautiful is normal but the person I love said I was beautiful he must be breath taken then. After all, I'm the most beautiful of them all, ho ho ho~ I really need to get a better way to hype myself up.
My father holds his hand out waiting for me to get on the carriage, "Thank you father." Taking his hand and getting on, "Anything for my sweet little girl." After father got on, so did phalton sitting right next to me, my heart almost beat out of my chest, how could he make such a fast move already. I can practically hear my own heart thumping out loud, no wait it's the wheels on the carriage thumping over the rocks on this uncomfortable bumpy road! For gods sake father needs to fix it, every time I tell him to fix it he never does! My mind is racing with insults at this point but I'm only holding back because he's my father, how could a proper lady just shout out such vulgar words. I was lost in thought the entire ride until, phalton that devious knight took my hand out of nowhere and said "My lady lost in thought are we?" How can he do that so easily! Does he not know what it means to take a ladies hand out of nowhere or even hold them on a carriage? I quickly slip my hand away, "Of course I am, after all I get to meet Lady Guiyan herself tonight." I instantly looked away, my heart, at this rate I'll have high blood pressure when I get older, like my father, I have to be calm, calm. Finally he looked away and my blood pressure went down a little bit but he instantly re-grabbed my hand, and smiled. How rude! How could he do this to me, but I wouldn't mind if he did a little more, unfortunately it was time to get off already. Both my father and Phalton got off the carriage before me and Phalton held out his hand. I took his hand and got off the carriage, thanking him and letting him escort me to the ball room. Many ladies and gentlemen hurried into the ball room, the announcer announcing their entrance.
My father then took the other side of my arm and led me into the ball room, honestly I'm severely nervous after all this is my first ball. Everyone looked at me, I could finally be a proper lady for the first time so I held my head high walking into the ball room, no sweat dripped down my forehead. I bet all of them were surprised by my beautiful figure and this dashing knight beside me, after all how could no one like my beautiful knight? I mean look at him! The perfect jawline, one of the most perfect body I have ever seen, and also very good swordsmanship. He's perfect through and through no one can compare to him and his dashing angulus. "Sweatheart I'll be right over there to speak with a few others, alright?" My father saying that burst me out of my wonderful tasteful thoughts. "Of course father I'll be with Phalton if you need me." More like the table full of desserts rather, my father quickly made his way over towards his friends or business partners while I quickly made my way to the dessert table. Made for me, pulling Phalton along with, making it to the beautifully aligned dessert table, I'm practically drooling from my mouth looking at them. All of them look so good that I can't decide which one to eat first, "Phalton stay near me okay?" Letting his arm go to grab a plate making it full of desserts in a quick flash. Keeping it only to a smaller amount compared to the amount I eat at home, after all I have to act like a proper lady and a proper lady does not over eat.
I ate all types of different desserts before Lady Guiyan's name came from the announcer, isn't she quite late? I turn towards the doors and see the most beautiful figure I have ever seen, perfectly slim, makeup down in such an angelic way. A dress that fits her perfect long black hair and green eyes, what product does she use? I have to know, I want to know! It's only proper to greet the person, so I walked over to Lady Guiyan slowly making my way through the crowd that was squandering her beauty. Then I finally made it up in front of her, "Hello Lady Guiyan thank you for the invite." Bowing gently to Lady Guiyan, "I'm truly thankful for the invitation" she looked at me and smiled, that's a good sign from the start. She looked at me and bowed, "It is only natural at your age I was attending balls like there was no tomorrow." Her short chuckle after saying that sent shivers down my spine in excitement, it was time to strike, "Ho ho~ Is that so? It's my first time coming and I was having a hard time picking what scented smell would delight you." I straightened my back and covered the bottom half of my face with my hand. She looked at me for a second, "Oh my I didn't take you for such a sweet heart~ I love minted smells the most." Gotcha now I know her preference. I should go put some on, good thing that Caroline packs for all different types of occurrences. "I see thank you for the delightful conversation, I hope we can talk again in a very short moment, my father is calling me over." I bowed goodbye, she simply nodded and I walked away, making my way back towards the carriage area leaving the ball room.
If I could skip in this dress I would, my blending of happiness wants to escape into the wild, I should have brought along Phalton so I could ask for his coat. It's quite chilly out here tonight, making my way slowly in this heavy dress to the carriage finally making it there to open the storage box. It was empty? Why, though it should be full I look around and open a few other noble ladies and men little storage boxes, all empty. Then I finally see the culprit, it's a thief, how dare they! "Get your filthy hands off those stuff thief!" Calling out to him, pointing at him, he immediately turned around and lunged at me, I closed my eyes and yelled, "KYAAA!" Then all I could hear was a thump on the ground, opening my eyes, Phalton came to save me. "Phalton!" He turned at me and smiled, then a few more people came running out. It seemed my scream caused quite a commotion. Many more knights came out to apprehend him, Phalton ended up grabbing me and hugging me saying it would be alright. Before I knew it I was already in one of the resting rooms, sitting there waiting for a search to end, I heard knocking at the door and some ladies came in. All of them looked frustrated yelling at each other then they looked at me, grabbing my wrist and pulling me out "Excuse me what are you doing!?" "How dare you cause a commotion at Lady Guiyan's ball? Do you know what she had to go through!?" What were they yelling about? I don't get this, "This is very improper, you hear me UNLADY LIKE!!" Why are these ladies as strong as a knight? My wrists are tearing off by getting dragged, "Anyone I beg, anyone, please, help me please!" Then suddenly the back of my head hurt, then blackness, I woke up in a dark place, it was filled with barrels.
Where am I? A wine cellar? I've only seen my dads wine cellar once, I mean it seems similar. I get up from the ground, touching the back of my head, theirs blood? What did I do? The door, I have to get out of here right now. I walked around trying to find the door and finally I found it. I creeped over, slamming my body against the door, trying my best to open it. Banging against it, yelling for help for anyone, no one answered. "Phalton are you there!? Is there anyone please help me!" Isn't the knight always supposed to save the damsel in distress, so I should be saved? I wouldn't be killed off for nothing right? I'm supposed to be a lady, the perfect lady, the best one ever, the prettiest, the one who wears the most elegant dresses. I banged on the door a phew more times screaming with all my might, when I finally noticed my perfect hands were torn to pieces. I cried because I didn't feel them at all. I could see everything in my hands. The parts that were supposed to be inside were outside, while the outside was pasted onto the door. I fell down to the floor, "I can't let anyone see me in this state no one." I have to be perfect, I will be perfect, the prettiest ever, so I pulled my body over to a corner and shrivel up into a ball. I stared at the door for a while, nothing happened for a long time. I couldn't move anymore it hurt, right? I'm not sure anymore if it hurts or not, why did they do this to me? "Phalton I'll be the prettiest, the prettiest and proper lady there is." Then I remember nothing happened after that, I was gone.
