Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 Marcus The Sorcerer

In the practice hall of Kamar-Taj, within the Mirror Dimension, a young man constantly muttered to himself while flipping through a book in his hand.

His name was Marcus, and he was twenty-four years old.

He was a transmigrator.

When the Ancient One first saw him two years ago, Marcus was forcibly drawn to Kamar-Taj to practice spells.

Marcus still remembers what the Ancient One said during their first meeting:

"The magical energy we absorb comes from other dimensions of the multi-universe, and we use this energy to cast magic and even conjure weapons. You possess an innate magical body! Practice with me; when the time comes, you will be the Sorcerer Supreme ."

These words made him happy for a long time.

He was not ignorant of the dangers of the Marvel world.

Being able to learn spells from the Ancient One was an excellent way to protect himself.

Once he mastered them, he could even go out, show off a bit, and meet women.

He could reach the pinnacle of life.

How cool!

He understood why the Ancient One would say that he was born with a magical boy.

Magic was about drawing energy from other dimensions.

He came from another world, and his body was a spatial channel leading to it.

In other words, while others had to absorb magical power, he didn't need to at all!

His entire body was already full of energy from another dimension!

Most importantly, he also had a system—a necessary tool for survival.

[The Binding System]

[Bound Abilities]

Longevity: 24 years / 666 years. You can live as long as the Ancient One without practicing cultivation.

Separation of Spirit and Body: Allows the spirit body to separate from physical activities.

[Bound Items]

Magic Jumping Boots

Sling Ring

When Marcus first came into contact with the Ancient One, he bound the [Longevity] ability from her!

This excited him for a long time.

Longevity!

A 666-year lifespan!

And this was achieved without practice and without any side effects.

His longevity didn't require drawing the power of the Dark Dimension's Dormammu, as the Ancient One did.

He was simply absorbing the years the Ancient One had already lived.

At that time, he also bound an item: the [Sling Ring].

Others would be stranded without a Sling Ring.

But his Sling Ring was directly bound and could never be lost.

This made him think he was the man of destiny, ready to fight like other transmigrators.

Learn one spell a day.

Become a great Sorcerer in ten days.

Achieve Supreme Sorcerer in one month.

Well, this was all just his imagination.

In reality, he didn't learn a single spell for a whole year.

The Ancient One told him that although he had the magical Constitution, he had not yet understood the true meaning of magic.

Thus, he couldn't learn spells.

So, for that year, Marcus had only one task:

Read a book!

The daily task was to read a book!

It was even more demanding than the college entrance examination.

He was even confined to the Mirror Dimension for this purpose.

What else was there to do here besides reading?

He had to learn from scratch: various languages, along with some incomprehensible knowledge...

After all, the ancient books here were truly troublesome.

They included characters like Sanskrit, which wasn't something he could learn in a year or two.

Fortunately, a year later, he finally bound a second Ability: [Separation of Spirit and Body].

Marcus, however, preferred to use the Eastern term, "soul astral."

After that, he also bound the [Magic Jumping Boots].

At the same time, he finally understood the system's function.

One place, one person—repeatedly "squeezing the wool" was only possible once a year!

In other words, if he wanted to obtain all of the Ancient One's abilities, it would take him who knows how many years.

The Ancient One simply had too many abilities.

However, he also noted the system's explanation:

One place, one person can only be squeezed once.

Since all the disciples here learned the same things as the Ancient One, he couldn't gain another ability from them.

But what about leaving Kamar-Taj?

That's why he constantly wanted to leave and try somewhere else.

Perhaps he could get more "wool" by going to other places?

Besides, the great battle was not far off.

If he couldn't acquire more Abilities, he didn't think he could survive.

"Ding~~"

There was a sound like breaking glass.

Marcus looked up and saw the situation outside.

A cool, bald sorcerer was walking in from outside the mirror.

"Marcus, have you finished reading the book?"
