Chapter 4 - Chapter 3. Noticed my naivety

As we pulled up the mansion, my eyes widened in awe. The grand Estate was breathtaking with it's sprawling gardens and intricate stonework. Ethan noticed my reaction and turned to smile at me.

"Welcome home, my love" he said as he opened the car door for Ma Jane and I and offered me a hand

A dignified looking butler stood waiting for us

"Welcome home Mr and Mrs Blackwood" he said in a formal tone.

It felt surreal being addressed as a couple. I was Mrs Blackwood now and this was my new home.

"Thank you, Jenkins," Ethan said with his hand still holding mine.

"We'll be needing some refreshment in the living room," Jenkins nodded and stepped aside, allowing us to enter the mansion.

Ethan led me to the living room, where fire was cracking at the fireplace. The room was decorated in a luxurious yet elegant style, with plush couches and intricate artwork.

"Make yourself at home love. This is your new home" Ethan said with a delicate smile on his face

Just then, Catherine Blackwood swept into the mansion. She entered the living room, her eyes landed on me and she gave a slight nod of approval. I could tell she thinks I am more beautiful than she expected.

And yes! I am a very beautiful young lady. I was blessed with the body, skin and face. At 21, my face could pass for an eighteen year old while having the body of a model. My beauty was admired by everyone and envied by a lot.

"Ah! Darling, it's so wonderful to finally meet you," she exclaimed, opening her arms for a hug.

I was taken aback by her effusive greeting but I smiled and stood up to hug her back. Her energy was infectious and I found myself relaxing in her presence.

When we sat for dinner, Catherine chatted easily about everything, from her hobbies to her favorite books to her latest hobbies. Her laughter and enthusiasm made the conversation light and effortless. I was asked questions about myself and relieved to discover she already knows about the wedding scandal but seem to careless. All that mattered to her was that Ethan had finally found a woman

"Mom, you're going to overwhelm Avery with all your questions" Ethan teased as he watched us converse effortlessly

"Oh nonsense, dear! I just want to know my daughter in-law," Catherine replied

I found myself opening up to Catherine and sharing stories I wouldn't normally share with someone I'd just met.

Her easy going nature put me at ease and it feels like I was talking to a friend instead of a mother-in- law.

I and Ethan retired to his bedroom after Catherine left. Ethan held my hands as he led the way and opened the door to the bedroom. I was nervous. I have never been in the same room with a man. I and Harrison were never intimate throughout our years of dating and that was because I wanted to give it up on my wedding night.

The room was well decorated awaiting my arrival. It was bathed in soft moonlight hues with a large window framing the night sky like a canvas of diamonds and flowery.

"Let me help you,"Ethan said, stepping beside me and gently removing my earrings. His fingers brushed against my skin sending gentle warmth through my body.

He pulled closer and drew me in for a deep and passionate kiss. He kept kissing me while leading me to the bed. His kisses were soft and intense.. I was immediately lost in it, he pierced his tongue deeply into mine as he gently laid me down.

Oh my god! My naivety was immediately noticed when I tried reciprocating his kisses.

Ethan paused and looked deeply into my eyes as if he was trying to draw energy from mine

"I can wait," he whispered while caressing my hair.

"Go on" I said without hesitation. I was already lost in passion. I was so f*cking h*rny. In my own defence, he is now my husband and so there's nothing wrong with that.
