Chapter 16 - Chapter 15

Nora's eyes followed Tobby's hand towards where he pointed. "Erh? Her?". Nora glanced at the person surprised. "Yeah. She has been coming here for a while now. And I don't know how to start up a conversation with her. I fear she might even have a boyfriend". Tobby said making weird looking yet cute puppy faces. "Nah she doesn't". Nora replied.

"How sure are you? You're just a rascally tomboy that doesn't know how to be feminine. Gosh... Your beauty is a waste. Heavens why has this befallen my Nora?". Tobby pulled up a pathetic drama. Nora expressionlessly stared at him angrily. "So, my Nora. Tell me, how do I start up a conversation?". Tobby turned back to her. "It's pretty easy. You just walk up to her and say, Hey gorgeous. I have been noticing her presence here for a while..."Nora spoke then whispered into his ear.

"Really? You sure that will work?". Tobby stared at her suspiciously. "Of course it will. I've given people few relationship advice and they..." Before Nora could complete her statement, Tobby had already pulled himself together and walked up to speak to the lady. "... end up coming back crying to me for making it disastrous". Nora finally completed her statement but Tobby had long gone. "Tobby? I'll be taking my leave now. Grace is waiting for me. And I'm taking this box of pizza also". Nora picked up a box and dashed out of the shop.

"Sure, sure". Tobby nonchalantly shooed her away while his attention were still on his catch. "I hope he doesn't call me after this". She muttered to herself as she drove passed a convenient store. She recalled asking Grace if he wanted anything but he stopped in his words like he was scared of someone or inconveniencing her. She halted her motor bike and walked into the store.

"That would be K100 for both chocolates ma'am". The cashier spoke after scanning the products and calculating their cost. "Oh". Nora swiped her phone in front of the QR code to make her payment and left with the package. She then silently drove back to the Stanley's home. "Good evening ma'am". Nora greeted the head of maids upon meeting her at the door with other maids. "Ms. Nora". The head of maids gave a slight nod. Nora glanced at the time and noticed there was still a few hours more before Grace went to bed.

"Grace?" Nora knocked on his bedroom door. She knocked for a while and when she didn't get a response she gently opened the door and spotted Grace at his reading table engrossed with something. She quietly tiptoed behind him and took a peek at what he was doing. "Woah!" She gasped upon seeing it. Grace instinctively wanted to hide it but Nora grabbed his arm. "It's so cool". Nora awed in astonishment. "It's not cool. It's ugly". Grace stared down in disappointment.

"It's so pretty, this looks 101% like me, you know that?". Nora still stared at the drawing in her hand. "No. You're way prettier than that ugly drawing". Grace protested. "It's fine dear". Nora gently placed her hand on his head and gave his hair few stroking. "It's fine. I know no one ever praised your drawings. But I have to tell you, it's so pretty. I have a request dear". Nora squatted to his height and stared into his eyes affectionately.

"What... do you want?". Grace asked. "I know it might make you uncomfortable and probably difficult to achieve. But can you not give up and continue drawing...for me?". Nora requested. Grace stared at her stunned. It was the first time anyone ever praised his drawing. His heart fluttered and skipped few beats as he stared at Nora. His face flushed and unconsciously blushed. He couldn't understand this weird feeling. But he knew definitely shouldn't be having this type of feeling to the one he called his big sis.
