Chapter 3 - LGGA: Chapter 3

On the cerulean blue ocean, a navy warship with a massive dog's head as its figurehead was speeding along.

Inside the ship's mess hall, a small figure had become the center of attention.

"This is so good! So delicious!"

Goku sat at a huge round table, his hands moving so fast they were a blur, constantly stuffing the food in front of him into his mouth.

The food on the table rapidly disappeared at a visible rate, replaced by a stack of empty plates that kept getting higher and higher.

"Excuse me! Another bowl, please!"

When the rice bowl in his hands was completely empty, he raised his small hand, and a waiter quickly took it, filled it with rice in a flash, and handed it back to him.

He couldn't help but mutter to himself: How many bowls is that now? Is this kid's stomach a bottomless pit?

He wasn't the only one thinking that. The navy soldiers who should have been eating were staring wide-eyed at Goku devouring his food, so amazed by his appetite that they forgot to eat.

Good heavens! Is this kid even human? How much has he eaten?!

"Hahahaha! That's how you should eat! Eat more! You'll get stronger!"

Only Garp didn't seem surprised by Goku's appetite. Instead, he found Goku more pleasing to the eye.

In his opinion, the more someone could eat, the better their physical talent. Being able to digest food that ordinary people couldn't would allow their physique to reach levels that ordinary people couldn't achieve.

"But it is a bit strange, how did this kid end up on that island?"

Watching Goku devour his food, a thoughtful look flashed in Garp's eyes.

Earlier, after inviting Goku to join the navy, he quickly learned from their conversation that Goku was looking for his family.

Witnessing Goku's extraordinary strength at such a young age, as well as his sense of justice in daring to face pirates who wouldn't hesitate to kill, and wanting Goku to join the navy, he immediately offered to help Goku find his family.

So, after the main force of the navy under his command arrived at the island, he waved his hand and ordered his subordinates to help find Goku's family.

Unexpectedly, after searching the entire island thoroughly, Goku's family was still nowhere to be found.

Unwilling to accept this fact, Goku immediately took action himself, searching the entire island again.

Finally, he returned to Garp, saying somewhat blankly, "Grandpa Garp, this isn't the island I used to live on."

Whether it was the environment or the residents, he didn't see anything familiar.

This also meant that it wasn't that Krillin and Master Roshi had disappeared, but that he himself had somehow, inexplicably, arrived on this island.

Upon learning this, Garp told Goku to come with him.

He told Goku that if he wanted to find his family, no one in the world could find them faster than the navy.

Still somewhat hesitant, Goku touched his stomach and said he was hungry.

Garp laughed loudly, declaring that if he came with him, he could eat as much as he wanted, which led to the scene just now.

Could it be that he was abandoned by his family?

This thought flashed through Garp's mind.

After all, with Goku's appetite, ordinary people would have a hard time affording it. Some heartless people might actually abandon a child like that.

Although he had this guess in his mind, and he felt that this guess was likely the truth, Garp didn't plan to tell Goku.

Because doing so would be a huge blow to the child.

Instead, he would work even harder to help Goku find his family, and then tell them that Goku had been noticed by their navy and would have no worries about food or clothing from now on.

And Goku would be able to reunite with his family smoothly, without suffering any psychological trauma.

"Hahahaha! I'm so brilliant!"

Thinking that his decision would bring a rare new force to the navy, Garp couldn't help but laugh loudly.

And this loud laugh instantly attracted everyone's attention.

"What's Vice Admiral Garp laughing about?"

"I don't know, Vice Admiral Garp is always like that for no reason."

"Huh? I'm new here, can you elaborate?"

"Well, Vice Admiral Garp often falls asleep for no reason. For example, once he was eating, and his head fell into the bowl but he didn't wake up."

"Huh??"

Goku, who was focused on eating, also stopped and looked at Garp strangely. "Grandpa Garp, what are you laughing about?"

"Oh, this?"

Garp grinned and was about to answer.

The next second, his head drooped down without warning, and a large sleep bubble came out of his nose.

"Zzz... Zzz..."

Huh??

Goku blinked in confusion.

And some of the navy soldiers who had just heard about Garp's antics couldn't help but stare in disbelief.

"No way! Vice Admiral Garp really fell asleep?!"

"Wait! His head is going to fall into the bowl!!"

...

"Vice Admiral Garp wants to recruit that twelve-year-old kid into the navy? And he says he's pretty strong? Hmph, I want to see how strong he really is."

In an office, Major Bocard stood in front of the window, watching Goku taking a walk on the deck below after his meal.

"Hey, Bocard, don't you dare—"

Before another navy officer in the office could finish speaking, Bocard had already jumped out of the window, so he helplessly covered his forehead.

And this navy officer was none other than Lieutenant Commander Ranza, the young navy officer who had embarrassed himself on the island.

He had thought he could earn admiration while protecting the weak, but he hadn't expected that the one he thought was weak would become the MVP, and he was the one who was shocked.

In the end, he was severely ridiculed by Garp, making him almost want to crawl into a hole.

And as someone who had witnessed Goku's strength, he knew how much power the little kid possessed, far beyond what ordinary people could handle.

But even so, he would be at a great disadvantage if he encountered Bocard.

After all, Bocard was a rising star in the navy, and his strength was much greater than his.

Otherwise, it would have been impossible for him to be promoted to the same rank as him despite being eight years younger.

...

Boom!!

"Hey, kid, I heard you're thinking of joining the navy?"

On the deck, Bocard descended from the sky, landing in front of Goku, and asked casually.

Having finished his meal and prepared to take a nap, Goku looked up and replied, blinking, "Join the navy? Grandpa Garp did mention it, but I haven't decided yet."

He wanted to find Master Roshi and Krillin first, and then consider the matter.

"Oh? You haven't decided? It's good that you haven't decided. You should know that those who can join the navy are the elites of humanity, not just anyone can join." Bocard said.

Then, without waiting for Goku to reply, he continued, "I don't know how you got Vice Admiral Garp's approval, but could you please show me?

At the young age of seventeen, he was at the peak of his energy and competitiveness. He remembered that when he joined the navy at the age of fourteen, he was hailed as a genius of the navy, receiving countless praises.

And now, a kid two years younger than him was being invited to join the navy, which immediately aroused his desire to compete.

He absolutely didn't believe that anyone could be more talented than him!

"Show you? Show you what?"

Goku tilted his head innocently, not understanding what Bocard meant.

"Just fight me, let me see your strength!" Bocard replied.

"Is that so? Then you have to be careful, I'm very strong now," Goku said with an innocent smile.

Seeing Goku acting like he was doing it for his own good, Bocard's eyes twitched. He took a deep breath, suppressed the anger in his heart, and said stiffly, "Stop talking nonsense and come on!"

...

"Quick, quick, quick! Major Bocard is going to fight that new kid, come and watch!"

In the mess hall, a navy soldier who was leaning against the window waved his hand, and many navy soldiers who were eating immediately put down their bowls and chopsticks and gathered at the window to watch.

"Zzz... Zzz... Smack!!"

Waking up from his sleep, Garp raised his head, which was covered in rice grains, and said, widening his eyes, "Oh no! How did I fall asleep?"

Then, hearing the commotion coming from the window, he casually brushed the rice grains off his face, revealing an interested smile.

"Bocard is going to fight that little guy? Interesting, this could be a good show."

...

"Bocard is really going to do it? No, I have to stop them, what if someone gets hurt?"

Ranza, who was watching the situation below from the window, saw that Bocard was really going to fight Goku, and couldn't help but feel anxious. Without thinking, he jumped out of the window, preparing to stop the match.

But just as he was about to speak, a strong hand suddenly pressed down on his shoulder.

"Just watch, Ranza."

Garp, who had arrived here at some point, stopped Ranza's actions, then sat down, took out a bag of rice crackers, and ate them with a crunching sound, looking like he was watching a show.

...

On the deck, Bocard didn't care that his match with Goku was attracting more and more navy soldiers. He simply put one hand behind his back, waved his right hand at Goku, and said casually:

"Don't say I'm bullying you, I'll just use one hand, and you can attack first."

Goku took the Power Pole off his back and placed it in the corner. He turned around and kindly reminded him, "Are you sure you want to do this? It wouldn't be good if you got hurt."

Bocard just patted his chest and smiled confidently. "Who do you think you're looking down on? I'm a genius of the navy! Even if I stand still and let you hit me, you won't be able to hurt me!"

He thought to himself that even if Goku's strength was comparable to him at the age of fourteen, he wouldn't be able to hurt him at all. After all, he was now strong enough to easily beat himself from that time.

Goku blinked in surprise. "Huh? Are you that strong? Then I'm relieved."

With that, he made a formal bow, then clenched his fists, and began to accumulate power in his body.

The next second, His legs moved like windmills, and his whole body shot towards Bocard like an arrow, arriving in front of him in a flash.

"What?!"

Looking at the rapidly enlarging fist in front of him, the nonchalant Bocard's pupils shrank, and he felt a bright red "Danger" sign appear above his head. He instinctively tried to block the fist.

But how could he, who was completely relaxed, block this fierce attack?

Before his arm could even make a defensive move, Goku's fist had already slammed into his abdomen, instantly bending him into a U-shape, and then slamming him hard against the ship's hull behind him, embedding him in the metal plate in a shape resembling the character 太.

...

...

In an instant, the entire area was silent.
