----------------------------------------------------Chapter 4: Forced Cooperation
1,130 Words
"So... this is what you call the condition for me using this body?"
The time traveler was strapped to an instrument, while Stewie, dressed as an evil scientist, was molesting him.
They were busy checking the straps fixing the body and installing testing equipment!
"Of course! After all, this body belongs to my brother, Chris. As an outsider, if you want to use it, you should pay your relatives a little compensation!"
After confirming that everything was in place, Stewie jumped down from the high stool and said with a smile.
After hearing Stewie's explanation, the time traveler naturally had nothing to say.
After all, the principle of paying extra was universal in the multiverse.
Besides, looking at the guns aimed at him, this time traveler decided to be pragmatic and just treat it as paying rent.
Seeing the time traveler fall silent, Stewie continued, "So, do you have any other questions? If not, I'm starting the experiment!"
"Um..." The transmigrator actually had a lot to say, but thinking about Stewie's various behaviors in the cartoon, he finally chose an irrelevant question: "Can those weapons really be used? They don't even have firing mechanisms, it's completely unscientific!"
"Hah!?"
Stewie looked at the time traveler in surprise. He thought, has this guy been corrupted by his stupid brother's soul to ask such a question at such a critical moment!
But it doesn't matter. To make my experiment go smoothly, I should satisfy this guy's curiosity.
After all, he still needed to use this time traveler's spatio-temporal characteristics to research other multiverses!
We can't let this little thing delay the progress of the experiment.
"Multidimensional space is a scientific technology modified by some kind of space magic, which can create independent spaces, very suitable for storing weapons!"
"Learning!"
After learning the answer, the time traveler nodded calmly, then let Stewie do as he pleased, a sense of death washing over him.
However, his attitude made the always-arrogant Stewie very unhappy, feeling that this person was looking down on him!
"Hey! What are you thinking? Do you think I'm some third-rate scientist who conducts experiments without any safety measures, recklessly conducting destructive research on precious life, and then causing huge chaos? Are you crazy?"
Seeing Stewie's sudden outburst, the transmigrator was speechless.
He couldn't just say that in the cartoon, your performance was even worse than those terrible scientists you mentioned, could he?
If he really said that, he probably wouldn't die on the path of scientific exploration, but would be turned into minced meat by those machine guns.
I really hope I can return to normal in the next episode, just like in the cartoon.
When Stewie saw the time traveler's expression, which was identical to his brother's when he was daydreaming, he knew his words were in vain.
He pouted angrily, but didn't take any action, instead walking towards his control panel.
He, Stewie Griffin, would use his actions to prove that he never made empty promises!
Whatever the transmigrator's memory of Stewie was, he had never made a mistake in this world!
"Come on! Let me see what other multiverses look like! And let me see what kind of monster I am in that parallel universe to scare this guy so much!"
As Stewie muttered, energy from other dimensions was instantly extracted and then injected into the spatio-temporal detector he had already established.
At some unknown time, the young Stewie suddenly became curious about the multiverse.
So he spent an afternoon building a multiverse detector.
Of course, Stewie was too young at the time, his thinking hadn't fully developed, and his brain wasn't fully formed.
Therefore, his detector could only be considered a semi-finished product. It could only randomly and passively collect information from other multiverses, rather than actively collecting and sending it.
Thus, shortly after the detector was built, Stewie discovered this and abandoned it to accompany Rupert.
It wasn't until now, with the arrival of the time traveler, that Stewie's curiosity about other multiverses was rekindled, prompting him to bring this out again.
After cleaning and upgrading, this multiverse detector became a spatio-temporal detector.
Not only was its detection capability stronger than before, but many new designs were also specifically implemented.
One of these functions was to use the time traveler's spatio-temporal characteristics to explore and open portals to other multiverses.
It was precisely because of his existing research background that Stewie dared to guarantee the safety of his seemingly hasty experiment.
Otherwise, even with his wisdom and ability, he couldn't guarantee that he could save lives in the first spatio-temporal experiment.
But this was the second time, and the situation was different. With the experience from the first time, he now dared to speak out.
As Stewie operated, the energy dimension he controlled and transformed provided a large amount of energy. Then, the spatio-temporal detector began to generate detection ripples, and at the same time, the time traveler's spatio-temporal characteristics were activated, thus serving as a spatio-temporal anchor.
Stewie soon discovered that the detector had detected over 100,000 multiverses.
These worlds were all different from their multiverse, none of them contained him, and most of them didn't even have an Earth or humans!
It was a completely different existence from their world.
Such numerous possibilities gave Stewie various ideas: some were to go on adventures, some were to build spatio-temporal annihilation devices to destroy those worlds, and of course, some were to quickly rule the Earth, lead humanity to develop civilization, and establish diplomatic relations with numerous universes.
In short, when so many different worlds and civilizations appeared before Stewie, it made his mind wander and even triggered many different extensions of thought.
Just a moment later, Stewie turned off the spatio-temporal detector and erased the cosmic records he had obtained.
"Tsk, tsk, I'm still a baby who can't leave his mom, not some old guy looking for meaning in the void. My adventure hasn't started yet, at least not until I have grandchildren!"
He waved his short arms frantically, trying to drive the chaotic thoughts from his mind.
Then he noticed the transmigrator, who looked like he had been violated by hundreds of strong men.
Countless energies filled the spatio-temporal detector, and a small portion of the aftershocks connected to the time traveler through the detector, thus filling him, the spatio-temporal anchor, with energy.
Just a moment later, he passed out.
Fortunately, the transmigrator's soul had been tempered by the endless void, and Chris's body was clearly extraordinary, which saved him from any accidents.
After the instrument check was complete, Stewie was finally relieved.
Otherwise, if any accident had happened, it would have been a very embarrassing thing for him.
