Olessia stood there until the carriage disappeared down the path, her chest tightening with every second it moved farther away. She turned to speak to Dino, hoping he'd at least explain something, but the moment she stepped toward him, he hurried back into the palace without a word.
She stopped, her sigh slipping out before she could hold it back.
