Nonna Anita's POV
Charles and I seem to be working out better and better. I still don't want to make anything official because of my true identity. I don't want him to feel like I double crossed him or be broken myself.
"The driver told me that you were going somewhere. Where is that?" Charles almost made me jump out of my skin. He has placed both hands on either side of me by the kitchen cabinet. How didn't I hear him?
"That is none of your business." I said trying to sound mean.
He chuckled and placed his head on my neck. "Then I'll be coming with you. Holding you to myself so the city knows you're my woman."
"You won't dare do that!"
"Try me, darling. I will do much more than that."
I knew that it was something that he can do. "Fine, I'm going to the grocery store to get some things needed for the house."
"Now it wasn't so hard was it." He chuckled and walked off.
