Elena's POV
A splitting headache hit me as I opened my eyes to the dark room. I guess it's late, I looked around me and saw myself in a hospital bed.
I furrowed my brows in confusion. "How did I get here?" I muttered quietly.
A gasp made me turn to my left and Nonna Anita was staring at me with teary eyes. She rushed to me and hugged me tight which made me groan.
"I'm so sorry baby." She said releasing me from her grip. "Are you okay?"
I nodded slightly and had to close my eyes because of the headache. "I'm just having a bit of a headache."
"It's okay, let me call the doctor." She walked towards the door when I made her stop in her tracks.
"What happened to me?"
"You were involved in a car accident, don't you remember?" She asked in concern.
I shook my head at first then the memories hit me like a moving train. I gasped and tears filled my eyes.
"Is Ryan okay?" I asked her and she looked at me in surprise.
