Mr. Hamilton's POV
My men never returned or got back to me after what happened. I don't have a good feeling about this and chose to call someone that is my intel in the police department.
The phone rang and the person picked it up when the caller was about to run out.
"Hello?"
"I need to ask you something really important."
"Make it fast. I'm still at work."
"I don't know if there was a murder attempt on one of your officers."
"There was a recent attempt on Detective Aisha Ade. She survived it though."
"Are you sure that she is just a detective? There were four assassins sent to kill her."
"What?" He screamed and I heard shuffling on his end. After some seconds, there was the sound of a door closing. "You did that? Why?"
"She shot my son and almost got him jailed for life. I tried reaching the women who wanted to testify against him but it has been proving impossible. I needed to take revenge, no one dares to touch my son."
