Chapter 1 - Chapter 1:The Era of Change

It began with a single decision the removal of biological testing from international sports. What was meant to encourage freedom and innovation instead opened a door humanity could never close. Athletes were free to enhance themselves by any means. Overnight, doping changed from scandal to strategy.Soon, laboratories everywhere chased perfection. Nations, desperate to dominate the global stage, began experimenting beyond performance enhancers. They tampered with genes, rewired DNA, and unlocked instincts that had slept for centuries. Those trials produced something unimaginable people who could manipulate their bodies and surroundings in ways ordinary humans never could. They were called mutants. Some controlled fire, others disappeared into air. A few developed animal like traits or could shift their forms entirely. At first, they were idolized living proof of a new era where science had conquered nature. But for every successful mutation came ten that failed. Subjects whose bodies rejected enhancement turned into monsters unstable abominations whose strength matched their rage.Governments collapsed under the strain of chaos. The old nations dissolved, and the world reorganized into seven large continental blocs. Each established its own systems and associations to maintain peace and hunt the failed mutants that threatened survival. Despite their efforts, the world remained divided between humans, gifted mutants, and creatures born from failed creation.Among the scattered survivors of lost research centers, one name began to spread Daniel Frost, a geneticist once hailed for his breakthroughs, now hunted for the consequences of his work.
