Chapter 48 - 48

I've completed the search, sir. Anton Vanko was a Soviet physicist who defected to the United States in 1963 but was subsequently accused of being a spy infiltrating the country and was deported in 1967."

"Ivan Vanko is his son, also a physicist. He was sentenced to 15 years in Kopeysk prison for selling plutonium to Pakistan. Only this information is available on the public network."

Jarvis's voice came through, and as Tony listened to Jarvis's report, he broadly understood the reason behind the matter.

Tony had seen Anton Vanko's name in his father's records, specifically on the Ark Reactor blueprints, even preceding his father's name.

But for some unknown reason, he was deported as a spy.

However, now was not the time to dwell on that. The important thing was that his son, Ivan Vanko, had set his sights on him. What should he do?

"Li Yue, since this is the situation, what do you think I should do?"

Tony paused his contemplation, looking at Li Yue, hoping he would have some good ideas.

"How about we lure the snake out of its hole?"

Li Yue pondered for a moment, then suddenly spoke, looking at Tony, who was staring intently at him!

"Lure the snake out of its hole? How do we lure it out…?"

...The next day, Li Yue appeared directly in Tony's villa living room, as usual.

"Jarvis, what's Tony doing?"

Li Yue asked Jarvis.

"Mr. Li Yue, Mr. Stark is in the gym, doing physical training with Mr. Happy. Would you like me to inform Mr. Stark?"

"I understand. You don't need to inform him; I'll go find them myself."

Li Yue was as familiar with Tony's villa as he was with his own home, so he naturally knew where the gym was and walked straight over.

In the boxing ring in the gym, Tony, wearing boxing gloves, was sparring with Happy, or rather, Happy was unilaterally getting beaten. He was too fat and no match for the agile Tony. Fortunately, he was wearing protective gear and wasn't injured.

"Good morning, Tony, Happy."

Li Yue arrived at the gym and greeted Tony and Happy directly.

"Good morning, Li Yue. Do you want to come up and spar with Happy?"

"No, I don't think so. I won't go up."

Li Yue directly refused Tony's suggestion. Are you kidding? He was afraid he might accidentally cripple Happy if he went on stage.

Li Yue's month of training wasn't for nothing. What he learned from Mordo were all very practical combat techniques, all summarized by Mordo after experiencing life-and-death struggles.

Seeing that Li Yue was unwilling to go on stage, Tony didn't say much and continued to train with Happy.

Li Yue, on the other hand, sat unceremoniously on the sofa, watching Tony "beat up" Happy while picking up fruit from the table and eating it.

And surprisingly, Tony's fighting skills were quite good. It seemed he had received proper training, and some of his moves even closely resembled Wing Chun from the Ip Man movies of his previous life. It seemed he had specifically studied it.

Imagining Tony in his Iron Man suit, striking the same opening pose as Ip Man, introducing himself to the enemy: "Wing Chun, Iron Man. I want to fight ten."

Li Yue almost couldn't help but laugh out loud.

"Tony, have you studied Wing Chun? It looks somewhat like it."

Li Yue asked after finishing a banana.

"Li Yue, you know about Wing Chun too? I specifically sought a master to learn this. I heard he was even Bruce Lee's senior brother."

Li Yue was a little surprised by Tony's answer. He really didn't know that there was also a kung fu superstar Bruce Lee in this world… "Hey, Tony, the notary is here. Can you come and sign the transfer documents?"

"Mr. Li Yue, you're here too! Good morning."

Pepper suddenly came in from outside,

and while loudly speaking to Tony, she then noticed Li Yue sitting on the sofa and quickly greeted him.

Li Yue also quickly stood up and greeted Pepper, but he felt this scene was somewhat familiar, and then he was somewhat incredulous. Hadn't Tony already gotten rid of palladium poisoning? Why was he still handing the company over to Pepper to manage?

Then Li Yue's eyes couldn't help but look towards the door, wondering if it would be her coming in soon.

Sure enough, Li Yue was not disappointed. Coming in was a red-haired beauty wearing black trousers, a white shirt, holding documents, with a slender waist and long legs, and an incredibly good figure.

As expected of the Black Widow, her appearance stunned the three men present. Happy was the first to react, unable to resist giving the dazed Tony a tap on the back of his head.

Li Yue also stared intently at the woman walking in. It wasn't that he was lustful; it was just that this figure was too familiar to him. Although he had never seen her in person, he had seen her countless times in movies.

As expected of Sister Widow, whose bathwater could become Durant's exclusive drinking water, she was truly stunning. He then recalled her information in his mind.

Natasha Romanoff, an undercover S.H.I.E.L.D. agent. Under orders from her superiors, she assumed the alias Natalie Rushman and entered Stark Industries' legal department, attempting to get close to Tony Stark… After several months at Stark Industries, Natasha finally had an opportunity to approach Tony Stark yesterday. For this, she had to add some laxatives to the former legal consultant's coffee yesterday to secure the chance to see Tony today.

Her goal was to attract the attention of the playboy Tony. Today, she was undoubtedly successful. Her stunning entrance had successfully caught Tony's attention.

However, Natasha noticed an unexpected person present, Li Yue, who was sitting on the sofa. This caused her expression to falter slightly, but she quickly recovered.

Natasha, of course, knew Li Yue's information. The director had mentioned Li Yue to her, saying he was from another universe and was incredibly mysterious.

"Didn't he disappear for a month? Why did he suddenly appear? It seems I need to report the latest situation to the director when I get back."

Natasha thought to herself, but her excellent agent qualities prevented her from showing it openly. Her current mission was mainly to get close to Tony, understand his personality, and, if possible, obtain technical data on the Iron Man suit… Ultimately, with Li Yue observing, Tony handed over the company's management to Pepper. He also expressed his desire for this legal department consultant to be his personal assistant, but Pepper immediately refused. She understood Tony's thoughts best.

Watching Pepper and Natasha leave, Tony continued to stare intently at Natasha's retreating figure, prompting Li Yue to remind him.

"Tony, I think you'd best put away your ideas. She's not a simple person!"

Li Yue didn't directly reveal Natasha's identity.

"What? You know her? She's not simple? How is she not simple?"

Tony directly asked several questions in a row. He didn't think there was anything wrong with Natasha. Wasn't she just a little pretty, a little sexy?

"Anyway, I've warned you. Whether you listen or not is up to you."

Li Yue didn't say anything more.

"So, are you ready for the operation in a few days?"

"Don't worry. It's such a good opportunity; I believe Ivan Vanko won't give it up. When he's lured out, I'll put on my newest Iron Man suit and teach him a good lesson in front of everyone. I'll show him who the most brilliant scientist is."

Tony said confidently, already eager to meet Ivan Vanko.
