"Raw eating?"
Wyatt Yardley was taken aback.
"Otherwise? Is there another way to eat it?"
To him, fruit is eaten once picked, peel it and it's ready to bite into.
Eating raw is the norm, and a fire pit is merely for warmth or scaring off beasts.
She sighed softly.
"Bury the fruit in hot ash, wait a bit until it softens, the skin gets charred, then dig it out. That's the aroma! A hundred times better than eating it raw!"
Wyatt nodded silently after hearing this.
A moment later, he turned to Kaelan Hawthorne.
"You roast it; cooking isn't my forte."
Kaelan's eyes widened.
"You... you want me to roast it?"
He pointed at himself, his voice trembling slightly.
"But... I've never done it before either!"
He lowered his head, a faint cold smile appearing on his lips.
Everyone knows Wyatt is a master at catching prey and cooking, right?
He can't be unable to cook, he's clearly afraid that if he makes five more meals, Seraphina Caldwell will use blood to break their contract!
