Chapter 2 - 2

Li Zhenwu, in the form of a golden light, felt a strong pull from a certain spot in the Village.

This pull made Li Zhenwu rush over uncontrollably.

Konoha Village was engulfed in fire and blood, a scene of utter chaos.

On an ordinary street, in the civilian district, a woman was in her home, giving birth in agony.

"Push, just a little more and it will be over," a sweating midwife at her side encouraged the woman.

Outside the door, a thick-browed man paced back and forth, consumed by anxiety. The turmoil in Konoha and his wife's labor inside the house left him distraught.

At that moment, a golden light, imperceptible to others, flashed and entered the woman's womb.

Phew! The woman suddenly let out a sigh of relief; the delivery was successful.

"It's born, it's born!" the midwife's joyful voice rang out.

The thick-browed man outside the door could no longer wait, he pushed the door open and rushed in, wanting to see his wife... and his child.

"Why isn't the child making any sound?" the woman's weak voice asked.

"Sometimes this happens, it needs a little stimulation," the midwife wiped the sweat from her forehead, then went to pick up the child to 'stimulate' its bottom a couple of times, to make the newborn cry out.

But just as she was about to pick up the infant, the midwife froze.

The infant's eyes were wide, sparkling brightly, full of spirit, not at all like a newborn's.

The midwife was startled, having never seen such a gaze, but she gritted her teeth and still picked up the infant, preparing to turn it over and 'stimulate' it a couple of times to make it cry.

However, as soon as she held it, the midwife was surprised, because her hand, on the infant's back, felt something round and soft.

"What is this?" the midwife exclaimed in shock, then turned the infant's body over.

The infant's body was turned over without resistance, revealing its back completely.

The midwife, however, trembled slightly, an expression of disbelief mixed with terror, and she stammered:

"Mon... mon... monster!"

The midwife's loud scream instantly drew the attention of the couple inside the house.

"What monster?" The thick-browed man was comforting his wife at the moment, but suddenly heard the midwife's shout, realized something, and quickly asked.

"Is there something wrong with the child?" the woman asked worriedly.

"Monster, monster, a monster was born!" the midwife cried out.

The thick-browed man's face changed; the midwife's loud cry about a monster being born, didn't that mean his own child was a monster?

The man gently released his wife's hand, took two steps, and looked at the infant the terrified midwife had already dropped back onto the bed.

At this moment, the infant was naked, just a newborn, yet its skin was very smooth. It was lying on its stomach, its small, lotus-root-like hands and feet twitching, seemingly struggling in dissatisfaction with its posture.

The moment he saw the infant, the thick-browed man's expression also changed.

Because, from the infant's coccyx, a short, fine-haired tail extended, wagging... (Newcomer seeking fresh flowers, collections, and rewards!)
