Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: isn't death a pleasure, dear wife.

Sulking had never been her thing. She hated it, hated being the most gullible woman in the world. Her blood dyed the tiles, and flowed unstopped. She gazed at the ceiling. The world seemed to turn. The pain she felt was compared to none. Her eyes gazed at the expensive chandelier. Dyane darkstone was what he was because of her. Her money, her time, her investment and her heart. She had lived him freely, believing him. She watched the chandelier in her last lapse at life. So this was how heart break felt. He was looking at her from the mighty chair he sat on. His emerald eyes glared at her with a hint of sarcasm and mockery. She bit in the disgust. He stank before her. How had she missed this. This bitter side of him. " How does it feel like now." He muttered. She inhaled, unwilling to look at his hateful face. He clicked his lips and tasted the wine once more. " You were never the one I loved, you know that." He said. He crossed his legs and became more aware that she had no more time left to spend on this world. He liked it. " Then why did we marry?" She said finally. Refusing to remain silent any more. " Why did you let me fall in love with you." She cursed slowly. " And lose that million dollar company? No Jennie. I was calculating. Your father would never had transferred all his wealth to me if I hadn't married you." Dyane to said calm, watching his pacing as if bidding time for her death. " Why her? Of all person in the world to cheat with Dyane, why her?" Jennie yelled in bitter resentment. " She was perfect, beautiful, industrious, and most especially...good in bed."Dyane said. She swallowed harshly. So it was not just a month thing. They had been having an affair while she nursed his company, her company. Her sweat and blood.

" You will regret this... Dyane you will pay." She muttered. He cackled looking defiantly at her. " Which one of us is on the death bed here?" He asked rhetorically. She bit her lips. It was her fault, her sister had warned her against this marriage but she hadn't listened. She was so head over heels for him that she exiled his flaws. Now here he was, the real Dyane darkstone. Someone walked in. The heels balancing near Jennie's face. " Oh... she's still here." A familiar voice said in disgust. Jennie bit back a curse word. This was someone she grew up with, someone she could lay her life down for. Bridgette Casswell was not pleased to see her rival still alive here. " Why have you not gotten rid of her already darling?" Bridgette said in a sexy purr. Jennie swallowed, this was why Dyane was caught by her temptation. Who could resist a low sexy tone like that? " Let her hang in here for a while longer and see us rule her fortune." Dyane said standing up and kissing his mistress. It was slow, sensational and a hungry kiss. Jennie swallowed. It was all too much. Dyane crept in, allowing himself to meet her slender body. Jennie turned away in tears. " God...let me have my revenge." She screamed. The kissing stopped. They both stared at her in silence, the atmosphere was an icy silence you could hear a pin drop. Then. " Ha! Ha! Ha!" The burst of laughter tore the air like a sharp knife. " Even God will be pleased to get rid of another gullible idiot in his world." Dyane mocked. Bridgette raised the tip of her left heel pressing the knife further into her stomach. " Times up Jennie. Tell the devil I said hi." Bridgette mocked. Pain bursted in her head and she could feel every thing turn into black. She was dead. Watched by her cheating husband and a backstabbing best friend. She was indeed the most gullible and stupid person on Earth.

It was calm. A warm silence enveloped the atmosphere and she could feel herself drifting, slowly into a white source of light. She hoped the celestial beings her mom often read her would appear to take her soul to heaven. She squeezed her fists in annoyance. Why was God so logical? Yes revenge was the thought of the devil but she had been cheated out of life. " And who says God will watch another poor soul be cheated?" A voice beckoned like a whisper. She watched from the corner of her eyes as a man walked before her. " Are you death?" She thought in her head. " Death. Yes. " The figure replied as if reading her thoughts. " You f****ker! You would let a precious soul be snatched before her time." She yelled. " For a girl who is supposed to be grieved you have enough energy to fight." Her death laughed. " Yeah. Laugh it out. You aren't fair enough." She said adamantly. " So letting you stupidly marry someone who ended up killing you is my fault?" Her death asked hysterically. " Your poor taste in men is not anyone's fault at all, dear" . She swallowed and slowly her body landed on a glass floor. " What will you say at a second chance?." Her death said. She gleamed with delight. A second chance at life. It was rare. She knew of reincarnation stories but now she could be one. " Thank you. I would die to have a chance." She muttered. " Again. Bad word choices Jennie. And how am I sure you will not waste it falling in love with another serial killer?" Her death mused. " I promise, I won't be gullible this time." She said firmly. Her death smiled in the most oddest fashion. " You have no idea what I would face because of this." Her death said scratching his head annoyingly, gazing at the white mass that swirled forward at them. " I will be watching you Jennie Suzanne." He said in one final cue to leave her. She was astounded, how was she supposed to get this new life. " Death, are you forgetting something? Like, new life?" She asked with wide spread arms. Her death grumbled and turned to her annoyed. " Humans...." Her death muttered and snapped it's finger. The white mass hit her hard. Forcing the air out if her body. She could here his humming slowly becoming distant.

She glanced at the window, down at the busy city before her. New oridean looked beautiful, especially from this view. She inhaled slowly looking at the city and sipping the juice in her hand. She closed her eyes for a moment, seeing the memories flood into her head. The door creak jolted her, startling the demons out of her. A young but let walked in. His suit made of silk. It was weird but he worked for the richest woman in the world. That was why he needed to look rich, classy and expensive. " Madam Kayle. The supplies have arrived and are being loaded in a warehouse." Her Butler said. She smiled waving a arm and he nodded leaving. " Tell the boys to deliver to the big ones first. Any screw up and even death will reject them." She said in the nicest threatening tone. He nodded once more knowing his mistress. An order was an order and any one who defaulted was dealt with severely. She turned. Her sky blue eyes accommodating all the objects in the last floor. Every single one of them was more than a billion dollars. She walked to the door, someone opening it from outside. On the room hallway were guards each trained to be even better than a serial killer. Then she walked forward, her steps echoing in the room. Her PA moving swiftly towards her. " Madam, the clients are in the waiting room." Kiara her personal assistant said moving quickly to match her boss's strides. " Tell them to wait for me." She bossed out. Kiara knew better than to grumble at such orders. Whenever her boss wanted to attend the meeting it was not her concern. " I will inform them duly, ma'am" she bowed. She nodded and turned a corner, arriving at the lobby. The staffs in seeing her turned sharply. " Good afternoon ma'am Kayle." They chorused in one voice. She moved elegantly, waving her hand as if brushing the greetings away. The front door opened and she walked out into the porch, a black limo sitting gracefully under the sun waited for her.

The door opened and she sat inside. The driver turning the key and moving the car gracefully out of the sky scrapper view. Selena Kayle sat silently tapping her phone effortlessly. Her eyes accommodating everything. Kiara glanced at the laptop, sorting the mails slowly. Her phone beeped and she picked it up. She chatted for a while and disconnected the call. " Ma'am the dragon skin company has opened shares sales. Every company in New oridean has began placing their interest." Kiara said. " Kiara, how many times will I tell you not to worry about that any more." Selena said slowly. Kiara checked her updates and turned to her boss again. " There is this very big company in jackalfax that has also picked interest in this company share sales. At the word her eyes shifted upwards. Jackalfax. After so many years. She would finally see her country again. " What company is that?" Selena asked. " Darkstone cosmetics." Kiara said, checking her resources. " Darkstone cosmetics? So that is what you decide to call it?" She muttered slowly inhaling. " When is the open sales beginning?" Selena asked assuming interest in the subject. " The 25th of November ma'am, precisely next week Monday at the company's bid hall." Kiara said turning to her boss. " Alright then, we will go." Selena said firmly. It wasn't the business deal that interested her, it was the meeting with her ex husband that seemed to interest her.
