Synopsis: A month has passed ever since the Ace Buddyfight Playoffs. A lot of things have changed and this includes Hou's Missing Interest...What or who can cheer him up?
Hou, offscreen, begins to narrate on what is Buddyfight about. Slowly as he narrates, three strong fighters & their monster stand together as if they're leaders of a nation. One of them is Hou of course, who's standing in front of Deity Gargantua Dragon. The
Hou: Future Card Buddyfight. A card game that connects humans and monsters together. A card game where players get to use different cards to battle against opponents. The thrills. The skills. It's such a blast...
And then suddenly flash to Hou's classroom where Hou is playing on a Nintendo switch alongside his classmates.
Hou: Or at least for me...in an opposite dimension. (Stops Narrate) Let's go guys.
The sounds of joy & laughter are heard across the classroom as they play their game. Hou continues to narrate offscreen as he continues his game.
Hou: My name is Hou Ren. 7th Grader at Helping Hands Academy. I'm sure you know me as the Ace of Games but allow me to bring you up to speed on what happened.
A few of Hou's Memories and important events show up in cloud bubbles. And while at it, it's like everything is fast forwarding in a funny mode.
Hou: I started buddyfight. Fought some guys. Met new friends. Lose old friends. Compete in a mega huge tournament. Fought even more guys. I gained my old friend back, I baked a birthday cake and so on bla bla bla. And...Okay I gotta get back to game now.
The Nintendo gaming session continues & Daryl & Masato are watching outside from afar.
Masato: This is packed...
Daryl: A lot of kids gathered around him to play games huh?
Masato: He is the Ace of Games, can you blame him?
Daryl: True that.
The gaming session continues And soon enough the gaming session comes to an end.
Hou: Phew that was exhausting...
Classmate #1: Hey Hey. Can we buddyfight next?
Classmate #2: Yeah. I wanna buddyfight too.
Hou: {Awkward} Uh...well...I can't.
Classmate #2: Huh? Why not? I thought you wouldn't say no to a challenge.
Hou: Not in this case...you see...um...I'm just tweaking my deck at the moment...
All of the other kids groan and one kid said "But you kept saying you've been tweaking your deck for the past few weeks too". Then they constantly chant "Buddyfight", much to Hou's awkwardness as he gets his stuff and moves away backwards slowly.
Hou: I know I can't do it today but I promise I'll do it next week...(runs off) Bye!!!
Kids: HEY!!!
As Hou runs off, Masato & Daryl are a little worried and question one thing.
Daryl: He's not his usual self isn't it?
Masato: Ditto...

Then later Night time comes in. As the moon shines bright in the night sky, Hou is currently chatting with Ranma via video call on his computer in his room.
Hou: And so today once again I win against my opponent.
Ranma: Haha. That's great. You are the Ace of Games after all. But...
Hou: Huh?
Ranma: I noticed you haven't been buddyfighting lately...like none of Ion's commentated matches have you in it.
Hou: Uh....you see...I'm just tweaking my deck at the moment...
Ranma: Uh Huh?
Hou: Anyways, I gotta go. Bye!!!
Ranma: Wait!!! Uh...see you later?
Then out of nowhere, Garga comes in. He's feeling very stern.
Garga: Ranma. Can you don't leave yet, please?
Ranma: Oh Garga. Sure...what's wrong?
Garga: Well...it's about Hou himself...
Ranma: Huh?
A few minutes later.
Ranma: WHAT? He lost interest in buddyfight???
Garga: It has been a month ever since the playoffs and your return. Back then, it felt like things are back to the way it is...but...
Flashback...
Garga: The moment you had to leave in order move to Singapore...he was in deep sadness once again. He suddenly lost interest as he hasn't touched his cards at all for a whole month.
Flashback end.
Ranma: A whole Month??? How can this be???
Garga: Since that day, he's been focusing on other games, helping around the house & his studies. I am okay with it for awhile, but it feels very empty nowadays...
Ranma: He misses me dearly huh? I even heard from Masato that a lot of kids kept asking him to buddyfight, and he kept denying by saying he's "tweaking his deck".
Garga: I wonder...can we perhaps find an idea to help my buddy to regain his spark.
Ranma: Hmmm....
3 days later, Hou is currently helping out his Mother with chores around the House by sweeping the floor. Oh and Bonus, Hou is now wearing a white hoodie with blue trousers. The sleeves are rolled up.
Hou's Mother: Hou Ren Dear, can you also go out to buy groceries for me.
Hou: Okay. What do you need?
Scene transition. Hou now walks across the streets, annoyed.
Hou: Of course she needs a lot of items. Let alone sending me a huge list but having me to go to a store that's 15 minutes away...
A few minutes later, Hou reaches a nearby road and to his surprise, a massive crowd is everyone on the streets. The noise is really loud & unbearable. Hou tries to squeeze in to see what is going on. It's really struggling.
Hou: What's all the commotion about? {Surprised} Huh?
To his surprise, A massive flag is being carried by a large monster and in front of it is a spiky man wearing a large straw hat, red sweat shirt, red cape, red boots while carrying a gunny sack. He also has a deck case strapped around him. The two walks around with pride and the crowd cheers for him.
Hou: Who is that guy? And what is that monster?
Suddenly, the Man spots Hou in the crowd and points at him with a large smile.
???: You!!! I have business with you.
Hou: {Shocked} HUH? (points at himself) ME???
???: Ha. Yes You. Who else am I talking about? Come Here. I wanna say Hi to you.
Hou: Uh...Okay?
Hou reluctantly steps forward and the two people meet face to face. While Hou is anxious, the unknown man is still smiling.
Hou: Can I help you?
???: Are you perhaps, Teng Hou Ren, the Ace of Games by chance?
Hou: How....How do you know my name?
???: You're famous, Man. Why so nervous? If anything...
The unknown man takes off the hat and glasses and it reveals himself to a Shocked Hou???
Hou: HUH??? Wait!!! You're...GAO MIKADO!!!
Gao: In the Flesh!!! (Breaks the fourth wall) Cheese!!!
The Crowd cheers aloud.
Spectator #1: Is that the Ace of Games & The Legendary Mighty Sun Fighter Together???
Spectator #2: They Know Each Other???
Hou: Wha...you know who I am??? And why are you here?
Gao: To See You Of Course!!! And I have a VERY Important request. How Bout a Buddyfight With Me!!!
Hou: W....You Too??? Why is everyone asking me to buddyfight nowadays?
Gao: Come On. Why so Glum? And besides, you should have no trouble beating me right? You are the Ace Buddyfighter are you not? (Teases him) If anything, if you refuse, I would say you're the Ace of Cowardliness.
Hou: {Angry} WHAT? I'm Not A Coward!!! (sigh) Okay Fine. Just this once.
Gao: Splendid!!! That's what I like to hear.
Garga then appears out of his card.
Garga: Finally. After so long, We can buddyfight again. And despite our sloppiness, we won't lose.
???: Won't Lose Eh?
Garga heard a voice. It came from the monster who's holding a flag. In other words, It's Batzz.
Batzz: Aren't you cocky, Oh Great Deity of Combat.
Garga: {Shocked} It's you...Barlbatzz Dragoroyale The First.
Batzz: Hahaha. In the flesh. I'm the strongest monster in all of existence. You will be destroyed in a just a few seconds before you know it.
Garga: What did you say?
Batzz: You heard me.
The two monsters are staring at each other with lightning. The two buddies stare with awkwardness.
Hou: Uh Oh...
Gao: Vuja De...
Hou: (Looks at him) Huh?
And thus they battle all the way on the road. Ion & Tako once again appear.
Ion: Hello Buddyfight Fans. Ion Here!!!
Tako: And I'm Tako.
Ion: We're here to commentate one of the most legendary battles there is today. Featuring The Ace of Games, Teng Hou Ren & The Legendary Mighty Sun Fighter, Gao Mikado!!!
As they commentate, everyone indoors is completely shocked to see what is going on, including Hou's friends.
Ion: 10 years ago, Gao travelled around the world to go on a special world tour. His skill is completely unmatched as many opponents fall before him. But now, with the young Ace of Games as his opponent, will history repeat itself or will it be reborn anew?
Hou: A deity of combat linking all words into one. Come On. Luminize. Dradeity...ACE.
Gao: Rumble & Tremble. The Almighty Storm that shatters heaven & earth. RRARGH!!! Luminize...Thunderous Warlord's Infinity!!!
Ion & Tako: Buddy...FIGHT!!!
Both: Raise the Flag.
Hou: Dragon World!!!
Gao: Thunder Emperor's Fangs!!!
Ion: Oh There It Is!!! Gao's One & Only Special Flag. Regardless of what the world is, He's allowed to use Thunder Empire Cards from any world.
Tako: He also starts out with 7 hand cards, 1 gauge & 11 life.
Ion: And now Without further ado, first move goes to Gao himself.
Gao: Draw. Charge & Draw!!! I pay 1 gauge & equip....(Equips) Turbulent Warlord Fist, Dragrumble!!!

Ion: Oh My. A new Item!!!
Gao: Replenisher, Pentar to the center.
Pentar: (Appears) It's been awhile since I'm called, Pen!!!
Gao: Pentar's effect, let's me draw a card. Cast. A distinguished, Replenisher. I gain 3 gauge & I gain 1 life.
Gao's Gauge & Life: 4, 12
Gao: Pentar. Attack the fighter.
Pentar: (Attacks) Leave it to me. (Shoots Pen) Pen Pen Pen.

Gao: My turn is over. Now, Come. (Open Arms) Show me the power of the Ace Buddyfighter!!!
Hou: Draw. Charge & Draw. Equip...(Equips) Combat Deity Dragonfang Sword, Gargasabre. To the left, Knowledge Seeker, Gardog.
Gardog: (Appears) You howl, I answer, Dog!!!
Ion: Gardog enables him to increase his gauge & adds one card among them to his hand.
Hou: Here I go, Mister Gao. I buddycall Deity Gargantua Dragon to the right.
Garga: (Appears) All are powerless before my blade!!!
Ion: There it is. Hou's Buddy. Deity Gargantua Dragon!!!
Gao: So this is him eh? The Legendary Deity of Combat that sealed away Lost World!!!
Hou: Say what? You knew?
Gao: Of course. You didn't know this but alongside Tasuku & a few pals of mine, I fought in the battle against Vanity Husk Destroyer a few years ago. And I am one of the leaders leading the assault.
Hou: Huh??? (To Garga) You didn't tell me about this?
Garga: You never asked so...
Hou: Grrr!!! Wait, you knew Tasu...Oh right...you and Commissioner Tasuku & Pals.
Gao: He and I go waaaaay back...I'm surprised he didn't tell me about you. And bonus, you didn't know this but I was the one who accidentally...well...
Hou: Well what?
Gao: Well...I forget.
Hou & Garga falls down...
Hou: {Bratty} COME ON!!!
Garga: {Bratty} Seriously!!!
Gao: HAHAHA. You should see the look on your face. But if you beat me, Perhaps I let you in on a few secrets of mine.
Batzz: Which is definitely Impossible. HAHAHAHA.
Garga: He's getting on my nerves...Let me in.
Hou: You read my mind. Garga, attack Pentar.
Garga: (Attacks) As you wish!!!
Garga successfully destroys Pentar, due to penetrate...

Hou: Gardog. Follow Him.
Gao's Life: 9 -> 7
Hou: (Attacks) Here's My Gargasabre!!!
Gao: I cast. Arc Dragon Shield. (Blocks) I draw a card.
Gao draws a card and notices in shock before smirking in response. Hou notices in shock and...
Hou: {Serious} Oh No You Don't!!! D-G-EVO Activate!!! (Draws) Change, Gargantua Dragon, Cyclone Mode.
Garga: (G-EVO) Cyclone...Mode!!!
Gao: {Impressed} Heh...So this is G-EVO eh?
Hou: I'm ending this whether you like it or not!!! Garga!!!
Garga: (Attacks) One!!!
Gao: Cast!!! Thunderbolt Mark Urn!!! (Blocks)
Garga: (Attacks) Two!!!
Gao: Cast. Thunder Emperor's Augite. (Blocks)
Ion: With that spell's effect, he gains 1 life.
Garga: (Attacks) Three!!!
Gao's Life: 8 -> 6
Gao: Owww....That hurt...but I know you still got Ace up on your sleeve.
Hou: (Smiles) Aren't you clever? Garga, Revert!!!
Garga reverts and attacks once again. But Gao suddenly smirks and...
Gao: Cast. Thunder Emperor Dragon Shield. (Blocks)
Garga: WHAT??? (Bunts off)
Ion: Woah!!! Gao used three different defense spells and preserved through Hou's Onslaught!!!
Gao: Hehehe. You weren't thinking of using Deity Gargantua Punisher are you? In fact, your strategy is pretty transparent so to speak.
Hou: (Blushes) I...(sigh) My turn is over.
Gao: {Disappointed} Is that really all you got? I thought as the Ace of Games, you would give me quite a challenge. Don't tell I've came all this way just to endure a boring fight? Is this really you when you fought against your friend in the Ace Buddyfighter Playoffs?
Hou: What are you...
Gao: I'm just saying, I watched your battle in the last round.
Flashback.
Gao: You were really holding your ground. Even though you were so cornered, you lift up your head high and refuse to give up. As a result, You manage to turn the tables in the end.
Flashback end. Gao continues with his statement, explaining to a small shocked Hou.
Gao: Those eyes of yours that day. Full of determination. You constantly reach out to your friend with passion. It was really exciting to watch. Now look at you, really sloppy, so down. What happened to you?
Hou: Where are you going with this?
Gao: I'm just saying...you've lost your spark. And if this is how you are then I'll end this now. Draw. Charge & Draw. Batzz, let's show him how a real buddyfight is like.
Batzz: Took you long enough, Kid. Send Me In!!!
Gao: Once Again Cast. A Distinguished Replenisher.
Ion: Gao once again increases his resources.
Gao: Here I go. I buddycall Thunder Emperor Dragon, Barlbatzz to the right!!!
Gao's Life: 6 -> 7
Batzz jumps in.
Batzz: (Howls) I AM BARLBATZZ DRAGOROYALE THE FIRST. THE STRONGEST MONSTER OF ALL OF EXISTENCE. BOW DOWN YOU FOOLISH WHELPS.
Ion: THERE IT IS. THE FORMER DESTROYER OF DRAGON WORLD LONG AGO, BARLBATZZ DRAGOROYALE THE FIRST!!!
Hou: Say what now?
Garga: It's true. Long before I was born, He's the one who's nearly destroyed Dragon World long ago. Except he was controlled back then by an evil deity.

Hou: {A little scared} That means...He's powerful...
Gao: (punches his fists) You haven't seen nothing yet. Let me say it, Young Ace. We're about to show you what true buddyfight looks like.
Hou looks at them with stern fear...
