~Darlon's POV

I stayed seated beside her bed all day, unwilling to leave, unwilling to let her out of my sight. Every little movement she made made my chest tighten with concern, but finally, finally, she stirred and opened her eyes, looking at me with that soft, tired smile I had been waiting for.

"Darlon…" she whispered, her voice weak but steady.

"Hey," I murmured, brushing a strand of hair from her face. "How are you feeling?"

"I… I don't really know," she said after a pause. "It's all so hazy. I just felt… a rush of memories, I think. They were fuzzy, but enough to cloud my mind. I honestly have no idea what that was."

I nodded slowly, letting her words settle in my mind. I reached out, holding her hand in both of mine. "You're fine now," I said softly, my thumb brushing over her knuckles. "Nothing is wrong anymore. Just rest, okay? That's all you need."
