Chapter 5 - Chapter 5: Not all Kaslana family members can't cook!

"You can cook! That's perfect then!"

As for the word "seem to," Kiana directly ignored it. After all, it was Mei!

She wasn't that Raiden on the other side, how could she not know how to cook!

"...Why should I cook for you?"

Although she had said it subconsciously just now, Mei had now realized.

"Ugh! That makes so much sense!"

Kiana felt she had no way to refute.

"But you're not full either, right! How about this! I'll go find ingredients! You cook! We'll work together, and then you can give me a little to eat, right!"

However, she quickly came up with a solution; if it weren't so inappropriate, she would have hugged Mei's leg and begged cutely.

"..."

This human… is so annoying.

Mei was a little impatient; she felt a bit agitated and thought she should have killed Kiana at the very beginning.

In her memory, cooking was never a happy thing, and neither was eating.

If Kiana hadn't mentioned the word 'happiness' earlier, she wouldn't have even bothered with her.

As for the result…

She looked at the energetic and vibrant Kiana and couldn't help but recall the chocolate and cookies she had eaten earlier…

Maybe, it would be a little different?

For now, she would keep her.

"Not speaking? If you don't speak, I'll take it as a 'yes'! Then I'll go find ingredients!"

Kiana clapped her hands and turned to leave.

Hopefully, the school still had some; if not, she would have to call the Hyperion.

"I'll go find them."

Before Kiana could leave, Mei grabbed her by the collar.

"Eh! Me to cook?! Uh… Although I don't mind, are you sure, Mei?!"

Kiana wasn't sure if she had inherited the legendary Kaslana family's cooking skills…

"..."

Ignoring Kiana, Mei took long strides.

"Ugh… I hope the kitchen won't explode…"

Kiana scratched her head, feeling a bit of a headache; what if she blew up the kitchen, would Mei do something to her?

"Kiana, well done! Mei's Honkai beast energy index is starting to drop!"

Although they didn't seem to have helped much, Theresa was still very proud; the three of them were truly amazing!

"Also, there are no longer any clean ingredients in the school that can be processed."

"Kiana, you are responsible for delaying her actions. We will deliver sealed ingredients to the school cafeteria kitchen and repair the damaged facilities there."

After all, this was helpful for the strategy, so Theresa would naturally provide assistance.

"Follow me."

Before Kiana could reply to Theresa, Mei leaned against the door and said to her flatly.

"Huh? Me follow? Didn't you say you were going to find ingredients?!"

Kiana didn't expect Mei to ask her to follow.

"..."

If she wasn't worried about this guy getting killed by those scumbags, Mei would have just left her behind.

But Mei, too lazy to explain anything, turned and left after giving the notification, knowing Kiana would follow anyway.

"I got it!"

With a single sentence, Kiana responded to both Theresa and Mei, quickly catching up to Mei.

"Ah, by the way, does this mean our relationship has gotten better? How about we walk arm in arm! I see other girls walking like that!"

On the way, Kiana naturally couldn't stop talking, after all, didn't Theresa say Mei's Honkai beast energy was decreasing?

And Mei even called her herself, which showed that Mei had her in her heart!

"..."

Mei didn't speak, she just stopped and looked at her.

"Ah haha, where are we going to find ingredients…"

Kiana awkwardly changed the subject.

Oh, did she really manage to increase her favorability? How was she supposed to conquer Mei? Why were Theresa and the others so useless…

"The cafeteria, there should still be something there."

Just as Kiana was feeling a little down, Mei suddenly spoke.

"Huh?"

Wait, Kiana remembered Theresa's task was to delay her, how was she supposed to delay now?! Mei's goal was very clear!

"But there shouldn't be much food in the cafeteria, after all, it's where everyone goes to eat."

"..."

Mei crossed her arms, standing still and silently looking at her.

"..."

Kiana understood what that look meant! It was the look of someone looking at an idiot!

"The cafeteria has a large storage capacity."

After saying that, Mei continued forward, her high heels tapping rhythmically.

"Ah, I thought you knew because you've been here! Wait for me!"

It seemed there was no way to delay; hopefully, Theresa had things sorted out.

Led by the strangely proactive Mei, they went directly into the cafeteria.

Entering the back kitchen, they naturally found nothing.

"I wonder if she can listen to our channel?"

Theresa couldn't help but doubt life itself.

"If you really suspect it, don't say it on this channel!"

Himeko rubbed her forehead helplessly.

"Oh, right, Kiana, since you couldn't delay Mei, I've delivered the ingredients to the cooking classroom and repaired the facilities there. You can guide her there."

Theresa certainly didn't think Mei would know, after all, if she really knew, she wouldn't be so amiable.

Although the cafeteria couldn't be used for delivery, they knew how to adapt; they just needed to change direction.

"Ah, Mei, do you know if there are other places to cook? Maybe they'll store a small portion of ingredients there!"

Kiana decided to retract her previous words; Theresa and the others were still useful.

"...Cooking classroom."

Prompted by Kiana, Mei quickly thought of the place.

That was where their students learned to cook, but she didn't like it there because she was always pointed at.

So, the first place she thought of was the cafeteria, not the classroom.

"Then let's go together! Let me show you my skills! I'm really good!"

Since Mei didn't object, Kiana thought it might be because the Herrscher of food saw her culinary talent!

"..."

Mei inexplicably felt that she didn't seem to dislike that place anymore.

Perhaps she didn't dislike the place itself, but… disliked those people.

"Follow me."

Nodding slightly, Mei returned to her previous position and then headed towards the cooking classroom.

Entering the classroom, there were a bunch of cooking stations and quite a few ingredients, probably for classes, which were likely unusable.

If it weren't for the Honkai beast infection, it would probably be filled with various smells by now.

However, the refrigerated ones could be used; they must have been put in by Theresa and her team, it's just…

Why are there a bunch of cabbages?

"Wuwuwu, cabbage, my cabbage."

She seemed to hear something, but that wasn't important; what was important was… she had to show off!

Not all members of the Kaslana family couldn't cook!
