Chapter 40 - In His Trap
Idalia let out a gasp, of all the people who had called her by her actual name in this limbo that she was stuck in, this was the one she dreaded the most.
It couldn't be real. This couldn't be happening.
She staggered to her feet and tried to run, but dribbled on another corpse.
She looked around swiftly.
He was gone.
But she didn't feel safe. She felt like he could see her, like he wasn't truly gone.
This had to be a nightmare. She had to wake up. She hadn't run away from him for this long to just suddenly appear in front of him.
What was going on? How had she gotten here?
Where was this place?
There were trees everywhere, the sky was dark, filled with stars and the moon. The air felt chilly.
There was something familiar about this place. Was this somewhere in the Bellator Lunae pack?
She didn't care. She had to get out of this place already!
