Chapter 46 - A re-assignment 

But then the door had closed shut and she couldn't have been sure what she had seen. Besides, the Silver Hunter was a mystery that she didn't want to get involved in. 

Soon enough though, she had more to worry about than that. 

Prince Demor had not taken her to the ground floor of the palace but towards his wing and up the stairs. It was confusing. 

"Where are you going? My room is not on this side of the palace," she said quickly. 

He might have just forgotten that he was carrying her. Vampires had strength, and she must feel like nothing to him, also he had stopped telling jokes for some time, so maybe he had indeed forgotten her. 

But Prince Demir only smiled. "That is no longer true."

What was that supposed to mean? 

That he had changed her room and found her somewhere to stay within his wing? 

That wouldn't make sense. She had left an impression on him but she didn't think the impression was quite strong. All she wanted was her son.
