Chapter 1 - World 1: The Accidental Savior

Chapter 1: The Lazy Host and the Furious System

Ryna sat cross-legged in the center of the dimly lit control room, her eyes glued to the glowing screen in front of her. The world plot line flickered and twisted across the monitor like a living map, but to anyone else, it looked… boring. But not to Ryna. She tilted her head slightly, her long hair cascading over her shoulders like a waterfall of midnight silk, and let her eyes wander lazily over the chaotic threads of the simulation.

It was so quiet that when System 01 came huffing from the department, it froze. Its round metallic body hovered near the doorway, blinking rapidly in shock. Its sensors widened, reflecting not just surprise but horror.

"You—what are you doing?" it demanded, its voice trembling with barely suppressed fury.

Ryna slowly turned her head, her angelic face illuminated by the monitor. Her smile was warm, serene… and absolutely maddening. "Watching," she said simply.

System 01 sputtered. "Watching? I commanded you to understand the plot line, not sit there like… like a… like a sleeping angel with your eyes open!"

Ryna's eyes fluttered, and she blinked at it, her laughter escaping before she could stop it. "Sleeping angel, huh? More like pufferfish." She smirked, comparing the spherical, puffed-up machine to a chubby, flustered fish she had seen once in a documentary.

System 01's metallic shell turned red—deep, glowing crimson—while it spun slightly in irritation. "Do you mock me?" it barked.

Ryna, realizing she might have gone a little too far, held up her hands innocently. "Okay, okay, sorry… I—" She paused, her mind racing. "Full chocolate combo—five percent of my salary?"

System 01's sensors blinked slowly. It didn't move. Ryna frowned and raised it further. "Twelve percent?"

The system's glowing red intensified. "Do you think I don't know about your bank balance? That zero you forced me to inherit? You think I can be bought with virtual chocolate?"

Ryna froze. She lowered her gaze, cheeks pink. She felt like a child being scolded by a teacher—though the teacher was a glowing red orb of pure fury.

"Others get pampered," System 01 continued, voice rising. "Others get everything they want! And I—" It paused to huff, expanding so much that it looked like it might explode. "I am bending all the rules, taking loans from other departments, just to send you to the worlds and cover your lazy little whims! And this is how you treat me?"

Ryna quietly shrank into herself, muttering, "Maybe… maybe I'll just… watch the plot carefully now…"

And yet, even as she said it, a small, impish smile tugged at the corners of her lips. Because Ryna was… chaotic. Funny. And entirely unpredictable. Even System 01 didn't know what she might do next.

Chapter 2: Accidental Victories

Ryna sat on the edge of the hovering observation platform, her knees pulled close, muttering under her breath. "Why do I even have to… move a finger… just to keep this system happy?"

System 01 hovered beside her, the metallic sphere's red sensors flickering in anticipation—or maybe irritation. "Because," it said, puffing slightly like an exasperated pufferfish, "if you don't complete the missions, we don't get resources. And I don't get to be taken seriously by the higher departments. You understand this, right?"

Ryna's lips curved into a mischievous smile. She didn't exactly understand, but she felt guilty. "I… I do… I just…" Her words trailed off.

The truth was, she hated effort. Lifting a finger? Too much work. Planning? Torture. But her System… the loyal, prideful, slightly homicidal ball of metal—was somehow her anchor. And guilt made her do… things.

She groaned, imagining herself crawling across the strange, newly spawned worlds just to appease it. And yet, every world she entered… something miraculous happened. She didn't follow the plotlines, didn't strategize, didn't even properly touch the NPC leaders… and somehow, the missions ended in Victory.

The higher evaluation teams, in their monotone, bureaucratic voices, claimed she had "totally disrupted the world's plotline."

Ryna blinked. How? she wondered. I barely moved…

System 01 watched silently, its sensors narrowing. Her tiny, guilty movements—the way she shrank into herself, muttering nonsense while that small, weird smile tugged at her lips—gave it goosebumps. Somehow… she looked like chaos incarnate, yet undeniably beautiful in a way that defied logic.

"I… I got a loan," System 01 said, voice swelling with pride. "From somewhere. And they gave me a beautiful sum." Its body pulsed with metallic excitement. "Now come on! We have to earn triple the money! I already paid the Soul Coins to the World Consciousness Administrator, and he said we could move forward. With these, we can access five worlds. Five! Do you understand, Host?"

Ryna glanced at it with wide eyes, her inner voice whispering: Five worlds… and I don't even want to brush my hair today.

The system continued, ignoring her mental protest. "At first, I was constantly worried about food supplies, wondering if the worlds would starve us or cheat us. But luckily, I got resources from somewhere else. So now—no excuses! Stop muttering, stop sulking, and get ready to go!"

Ryna reluctantly straightened, her fingers twitching as she prepared herself for another chaotic, accidental adventure. She hated effort, but she couldn't deny… the thrill of unpredictable victory had a strange pull.

As they set off for the next world, System 01 hovered beside her, radiant with pride and anticipation, muttering endlessly about profits, resources, and Soul Coins. Ryna grumbled under her breath but secretly smiled, her chaotic little mind already wondering what absurd twist of fate would turn this next world into another "accidental victory."

And somewhere deep down, she realized… maybe she didn't hate these adventures that much after all.

Chapter 3: How to Adopt a Heroine and Confuse Two Rich Brothers

Ryna had officially entered the world with her own body — which was already a bad idea, considering she'd rather reincarnate into a pillow than an office intern.

"Host, wake up!" the system nagged. "Your job starts in ten minutes!"

Ryna groaned. "My soul starts in five hours…"

After three full minutes of rolling around and muttering about capitalism, she finally dragged herself to the company. Just as she sat down at her assigned desk — boom. Her energy hit zero.

"Finally," she sighed, melting into the chair. "My throne."

Kain, the assistant, 23 years, who was looking like a adult burdened with heavy problems and golden retriever energy peeked at her from the corner of his desk, frowning slightly. (Wasn't she cheerful during yesterdayinterview? Why does she look like her life ended the moment she sat down?)

He adjusted his glasses thoughtfully. (Does she have… some personality disorder?)

Yesterday he was the one who interviewed this ryna but now looking at her, everything is OK but something is absolutely not!!! and he thinks she came here on some suspicious purposes....might be on our cold stoic CEO...[ sighs..dramatically...another poor sheep ...]

By the time he finished questioning his life choices, Ryna had already dozed off upright — like a panda meditating mid-snack.

When she finally woke up (thanks to her system blasting rock music in her ears), she was half dead but somehow energetic enough to move. With what little energy she had, she staggered to the CEO's cabin — and immediately froze.

Something dramatic was happening inside.

Her other favorite hobby (besides sleeping) and occasionally eating was watching drama unfold, so she pressed her ear to the door like a certified eavesdropper.

"Host…" the system sighed. "Can you not?"

"Shhh, this is free entertainment," she whispered.

Eventually, the system gave up and just projected the scene on a screen for her.

Inside, a girl stood nervously in front of Ethan — the terrifyingly handsome CEO with the emotional range of a glacier.

Ryna squinted. "Oh, that must be the heroine, Mia Lane. Cute. Looks like she eats sunshine for breakfast."

But Ethan wasn't praising her. He was criticizing her — for taking a day off.

"Is dating more important than work?" he asked sharply.

Mia stammered apologies.

Before Ryna could throw popcorn at the screen, a new voice spoke. Smooth, calm, and annoyingly charming.

"Brother," said Adrian, who has somewhat familiar facial features to ethan but his handsomeness comes from his clear peach blossomed eyes which can trap any young maidens heart instantly, compared to ethan, where he has cold eyes with a sharp look which could kill anyone with a look.

stepping into view. "You're being too harsh. She's just a kid — a cute one at that."

Ryna leaned closer. "Ah," she whispered, "and that must be the troublemaker."

Adrian smiled like he'd just gifted world peace. Ethan's face, however, looked like it needed divine intervention.

System: "Host, remember, your mission is to reduce the villain's blackening value—"

Ryna: "Shhh. I'm deciding who's actually the villain here."

After the scene ended, the system hurriedly showed her the world plot before she could nap again — and Ryna watched the entire tragic backstory of Ethan, Adrian, and Mia in one sitting.

By the end, she sighed dramatically. "I think we're misunderstanding something. The supposed villain is the only sane one here."

System: "…You say that every world."

Ryna: "Because it's true in every world."

Ten minutes later Ryna marched back into the office with her "great plan."

Her goal: protect the cute heroine Mia from heartbreak, chaos, and unnecessary labor — by adopting her.

She waved at Mia with sleepy enthusiasm. "Hey, newbie, wanna join my alliance?"

Mia blinked. "Alliance?"

"Yup. Benefits include snacks, naps, and moral support. Mostly naps."

Before Mia could refuse, Ryna declared her adopted.

And just like that, she had a disciple.

Meanwhile, Adrian, who had come to "observe" the company that day, noticed how Ryna subtly stepped between him and Mia every time he tried to talk. Every. Single. Time.

It was like watching a sleepy bodyguard who didn't even know who she was guarding.

Adrian's smile wavered. (Why is this intern treating me like a threat?)

Kain, the assistant, watched from afar, still internally panicking. (So she's cozying up to the Mia now? Is this some deep infiltration tactic? Should I stop her? Should I help her?)

By the end of the day, both men looked mildly traumatized.

And just to top it all off, Ryna later waltzed into Ethan's office, dropped a folder on his desk, and said, "Mr. CEO, I have some very important information. I'll give it to you for free — if you raise my position."

Ethan blinked. "…Are you bribing me with my own company files?"

Ryna smiled sweetly. "Negotiating. It's called initiative."

He stared at her for a long moment, then muttered, "You're either fearless or brainless."

She gave him a serene, motherly look. "I like to think I'm spiritually enlightened."

Through the glass wall, Kain saw the scene and sighed deeply. "Once, there was a sheep who thought she could love a wolf," he said, shaking his head. "In the end, both got eaten by confusion."

Ryna blinked. Mia blinked.

"...Was that supposed to be deep?" Ryna asked. "I think he's having a crisis," Mia whispered.

They exchanged glances — and burst out laughing.

By the end of the day, the heroine and the lazy villain-fixer had become unbreakable office besties, and the company had collectively decided that no HR training could prepare them for Ryna.
