Chapter 5 - Chapter-5 War of the Divine Sects

Lightning still crackled across the skies above **Celestia Sanctum**. The heavens themselves were restless after Raghu's triumph in the first divine trial. His victory had echoed through every realm — from mortal cultivators to ancient gods in slumber.

Whispers spread like wildfire.

> "The boy who defied Heaven's Gate…"

> "The ascendant who shattered his own reflection…"

> "A human with the power to multiply everything — a billionfold."

Within days, his name — **Raghu of the Infinite Path** — became legend.

### **THE SUMMONING OF THE SECTS**

High atop the **Divine Assembly Spire**, ten great sects of the Heavenly Sky Continent convened. Clouds swirled around their floating palace — each seat occupied by an immortal whose presence distorted space itself.

At the head of the circle sat the **Eternal Sage**, leader of the *Heaven's Radiant Sect*, his beard white as moonlight. "This boy," he said, voice calm but sharp, "carries a power beyond divine law. A billionfold increase in everything — even one mistake could destroy balance itself."

A crimson-robed woman from the *Blazing Star Sect* leaned forward, eyes blazing like embers. "Then we must claim him before the others do."

A shadowy figure chuckled — the master of *Night Void Temple.* "Claim him? You mean control him. No one can control a being like that."

The Eternal Sage slammed his staff, thunder rolling through the chamber. "Enough! Raghu will be summoned. If he joins willingly, he will learn under the protection of Heaven's Radiant Sect. If he refuses..."

He paused, his gaze cold as steel.

"Then the divine laws will decide his fate."

### **CELESTIA SANCTUM – THE DAY OF SUMMONING**

Raghu stood at the edge of the floating city, wind sweeping through his dark hair. Below, divine beasts soared among golden clouds, and above, the sun burned brighter than ever. His spiritual flying sword hovered at his side, vibrating gently — as if sensing what was to come.

A golden sigil suddenly appeared before him, forming a massive circle of light. The air shimmered as ten figures materialized — each radiating an aura that could crush mountains.

Ten Divine Sect Masters had descended.

The Eternal Sage stepped forward. "Raghu of the Mortal World," he began, his voice carrying through the skies, "your power is unmatched. We, the rulers of the Heavenly Sky Continent, offer you a place among us."

The woman from the Blazing Star Sect extended her hand. "Join my sect. I will grant you the *Sunfire Scripture* — an art that can burn gods themselves."

Another voice followed — deep and calm — from the *Azure Heaven Hall*. "Join us, and you may inherit the *Throne of Eternity*."

More offers came — treasures, techniques, divine weapons — enough to tempt even immortals. But Raghu's expression didn't change.

He folded his arms. "I appreciate the offers. But I didn't come here to serve anyone."

A wave of silence spread across the air. Then, the Eternal Sage's eyes narrowed. "Do you reject the Divine Sects?"

Raghu met his gaze without flinching. "I reject submission. I came here to surpass the gods — not kneel to them."

---

### **THE HEAVENLY WARNING**

The air trembled. The Eternal Sage's staff struck the ground, unleashing a shockwave that split the clouds.

"Arrogant child! You toy with forces beyond comprehension. The Divine Sects maintain order. Defiance is blasphemy!"

Raghu's aura flared — golden and endless. "Then let the heavens decide."

He leapt onto his **spiritual flying sword**, rising above the ten masters, his robes billowing in divine wind.

> "If all you see is control," he shouted, "then maybe it's time for Heaven itself to change!"

The sky darkened instantly.

Thunderclouds formed a colossal vortex above Celestia Sanctum. Lightning bolts shaped like serpents writhed within.

> **[System Warning: Hostility Detected — Multiple Divine Entities Engaged.]**

> Objective: *Survive or Overcome the Divine Trial.*

The battle for the Divine Realm had begun.

### **THE WAR OF SECTS**

From the east, Blazing Star Sect disciples launched torrents of flame.

From the west, Night Void Temple summoned shadows that devoured light.

From above, Heaven's Radiant Sect unleashed divine spears of lightning.

Raghu's sword blazed brighter than ever. He raised his hand, and golden light burst outward — forming a barrier that swallowed every attack like a black hole. The sky lit up with explosions as divine energies clashed.

"Billionfold Amplification — Heavenly Defense Mode!" he shouted.

His aura expanded, multiplying each defensive layer a billionfold. The attacks struck — and vanished into light.

Then he countered.

"Billionfold Sword Arts — Divine Annihilation Form!"

His blade moved once — but the air rippled with a billion strikes. The sky tore open. Mountains far below crumbled into dust. Even immortals stepped back in shock.

One of the sect masters — the crimson woman — gritted her teeth. "Impossible… he's outpacing divine energy itself!"

The Eternal Sage's eyes widened. "No... he's rewriting the very equations of power!"

Raghu descended through the air, surrounded by golden flames. His eyes glowed like twin stars. "This isn't rebellion," he said calmly. "This is evolution."

With a single swing, he shattered the sigil that bound the Divine Assembly. The energy connecting the ten sects snapped like threads, sending waves of chaos through the heavens.

### **AFTERMATH**

The skies quieted after hours of battle. Half of Celestia Sanctum's floating isles were scarred by divine fire. The survivors looked up to see Raghu, standing tall atop his flying sword, his aura calm once again.

He looked at the ten sect masters, who now stood silently amid the ruins. None dared move.

"I don't want war," Raghu said softly. "But I won't be controlled. If the Divine Realm cannot coexist with freedom — then I'll create a new one."

He turned toward the horizon — where distant galaxies shimmered like jewels.

The Eternal Sage finally spoke, his tone no longer hostile, but resigned. "Perhaps… this is Heaven's will. The old must fall so the new can rise."

Raghu nodded respectfully. "Then let's not fight it. Let's rebuild it."

He ascended slowly into the sky, his sword trailing golden energy. As he disappeared into the clouds, the remaining sects bowed — not out of fear, but acknowledgment.

A mortal-born boy had shaken the heavens and rewritten the law of divinity.
