Chapter 3 - Leave??

JAY-JAY POV

After the hospital, I couldn't breathe.

I was still in shock.

Pregnant.

The word echoed in my head like a scream trapped in a tunnel.

I kept touching my stomach like it would give me answers.

 It didn't.

I wasn't ready.

I didn't even know who I was anymore.

Everything felt like a lie—my family, my past, even my body.

I wanted to leave.

 Run.

Disappear.

But I didn't know where to go.

"Jay, here. Eat this," Percy said, setting the tray down beside me.

I stared at it.

I didn't want to eat.

 Didn't want to move.

 Didn't want to exist.

But my stomach growled, betraying me.

So I picked up the spoon and ate.

Slowly.

 Quietly.

Like it was a chore.

Percy didn't say anything else.

He just sat there, watching me like he was afraid I'd vanish again.

And maybe I would.

If I could.

After a while, Percy broke the silence. "So… do you want to go home?"

I shook my head.

"Jay, it's 7 p.m. You have to go home," he said, trying to sound firm but failing miserably.

"I'll live with you," I mumbled.

He blinked. "Oh hell to the no."

"Why?" I asked, half offended, half amused.

"I barely take care of my handsome self," he said dramatically. "Let alone take care of someone else. You'll throw off my skincare routine and my snack budget."

I rolled my eyes. "You're the worst."

"And yet, still your favorite," he grinned.

"Let's go," Percy said, standing up and brushing imaginary dust off his jeans.

"Fine," I muttered

We got into the car and left for the Fernandez's house. The drive was quiet—Percy didn't speak, and I didn't ask him to.

When we pulled up, I froze.

Cars. One, two, three… I lost count. But I knew those cars. I knew the matte black one with the dented bumper. The silver one with the obnoxious spoiler. The beat-up van with the sticker that said "Chaos Crew."

Section E.

They were here. All of them.

And suddenly, I wasn't ready.

"Go, I'll park the car and come," Percy said.

I nodded, stepped out, and walked toward the gate like my legs weren't shaking.

I opened it slowly.

The house of quit

I entered the house and Section e looked relieved

I looked at Keifer

The father of my child.

The boy who betrayed me.

Tita Gemma hugged me the moment I stepped in. "Where were you, Jay? We were so worried about you," she said, her voice trembling.

I smiled at her—soft, grateful. She was the only one who felt like home.

Then came her. My so-called mother.

"Where the hell have you been, Jay?" she snapped.

I didn't flinch. "Why do you care?" I asked quietly.

"Because I'm your mother," she said.

I laughed. Bitter. Hollow. "Right. My so-called mother who left me when I needed her most."

I could feel Section E's eyes on us.

But I didn't care.

Not anymore.

"Jay, I had my reasons," she said.

"Oh, shut up," I said, voice sharp.

"Jay, that's not how you talk to your mother," Kuya Angelo cut in.

I turned to him, eyes blazing. "You don't get to talk," I said, pointing at him.

"What the hell, Jay? Watch your tongue," Aries added, stepping forward.

I looked at all of them.

All the people who thought they could control me.

All the people who let me break and never picked up the pieces.

"I'm done watching my tongue," I said. "I've been quiet long enough."

"All of you ruined my life," I said, my voice shaking as I pointed at each of them.

I turned to Jenna—my mother. "You left me when I needed you most," I said, venom laced in every word.

Then to Kuya Angelo. "And you—" I jabbed a finger at him. "You fixed a fucking engagement without my consent. Like I was some property to be sold off."

"Jay, that's not how you talk to your Kuya," Lola said, her voice low but firm.

I turned to her, tears already spilling. "How could you hide it from me?" I asked, voice cracking. "How could you hide that I was a child born outside of marriage?"

The room went still. I could feel the shock ripple through Section E, through my so-called family. Even the air felt heavy.

Mom's eyes widened. "Who the hell told you?"

"That doesn't matter," I said, standing taller. "What matters is that you thought you could bury secrets that belong to me. Secrets about my life. My identity."

No one moved. No one spoke.

Because for once, I wasn't the one being silenced. They were.

"Jay, for god's sake, try not to make everything about you," Aries snapped.

I turned to him, eyes burning. "What the hell, Aries? You think I want this to be about me?" "You knew everything from the beginning. Everything. And I didn't." "God knows how many more secrets you're hiding."

He scoffed. "Oh my god, just be happy you have somewhere to live."

I laughed. Cold. Bitter. "Right. Shelter over truth. That's the deal, huh?"

Section E was silent.

No one dared to interrupt.

Because they knew—this wasn't just a fight.

It was years of silence finally breaking.

The room was on fire.

 Words thrown like knives.

 Aries glaring.

 Kuya Angelo stiff.

My mother—Jenna—fuming.

And me, standing in the middle of it all, bleeding truth.

Then the front door slammed.

Percy walked in, keys still in hand, eyes scanning the chaos.

"What the hell is going on?" he asked, voice sharp.

No one answered.

Everyone was frozen.

 Mouths half open.

Eyes wide.

Because Percy—Percy who everyone thought was dead—just walked in like it was nothing.

"Kuya… you're alive," Felix said, voice barely above a whisper.

Percy glanced at him, calm as ever. "Let's talk later, Felix," he said, brushing past.
