Chapter 10 - The Totsuka Blade and Yata Mirror! Izuna’s Mind Blown: “Since When Was

Itachi's Susanoo This Stacked?!"

[Boruto]: Itachi-san doesn't look so good in that video…

[Izumi]: It's all because of me… I'm sorry, Itachi.

[Itachi]: Izumi…

[Kisame]: Itachi-san truly is a kind man.

[Hiruzen]: Sigh… both Itachi and Obito were good kids. It's my fault—too indecisive…

[Tobirama]: "Good kids"? Are you sure that Obito one's dead?

[Hiruzen]: Sensei, what's that supposed to mean?!

[Hashirama]: Oh come on, Tobirama, stop being so suspicious all the time. Obito seemed like a cheerful boy—probably loved children!

[Naruto]: Yeah! I get warm vibes from Uncle Obito somehow!

[Minato]: Hahaha, silly kid, he didn't exactly stick a heating pad on you when you were born!

[Obito]: …

If guilt could kill, Obito would've died again.

Wait… when Naruto was born… didn't I stick a few explosive tags on him?

No, no. Those were warmth charms. Yes. For warmth.

He convinced himself so hard it almost sounded true.

[Kushina]: You know, Obito, I'm really glad to see you again!

[Obito]:coughs violently

Meanwhile, on the battlefield—

Orochimaru's tone turned sharp and low.

"Thanks to you, the chakra that suppressed me has vanished. I'll take this boy's body… and then…"

His excitement was palpable.

But the instant he mentioned Sasuke's body, Itachi's eyes darkened to pure wrath.

He lunged, the Totsuka Blade flashing. The sword pierced Orochimaru's chest clean through.

Orochimaru laughed—a slippery, mocking sound.

"This little scratch? You think that can kill me? I've transcended life itself!"

Then—his grin froze.

A chill spread through his limbs.

"What—what is this pressure?!"

Itachi's calm voice broke the silence.

"So, Sasuke… what will you do next?"

The red blade hummed. Orochimaru's form began to melt like wax, his body sloughing away into liquid as the sword drank his soul.

[Black Zetsu]: The Totsuka Blade?! I didn't think that weapon actually existed!

[White Zetsu]: What even is that sword?!

Black Zetsu began explaining with the zeal of a cursed historian.

"That sword is an ancient relic from the Land of Cherry Blossoms. Legend says Susanoo no Mikoto used it to slay the Eight-Headed Serpent—Yamata no Orochi. Anyone pierced by it is sealed in an eternal genjutsu dream!"

The entire world gasped in unison.

[Iwabe]: Sarada… your uncle's terrifying!

[Denki]: Science can't even compete with this level of hax!

[Metal Lee]: My heartbeat can't handle this!!

[Sarada]: So this is Uncle Itachi's true power…

Sarada could only stare, dazed.

Every branch of her family tree was filled with walking disasters.

Shisui—Shadow-level genius.

Grandpa Fugaku—peak of Kage-tier.

Uncle Itachi—god-tier arsenal.

And her dad…?

She really hoped he'd at least be on the same level.

"It's over… Sasuke…"

Itachi staggered forward, voice fading with every word.

He turned and unleashed Amaterasu, burning every remnant snake to ash—no escape left.

He coughed up blood—dark, heavy.

Sasuke stumbled back, panic breaking through the hatred.

[Mei Terumī]: Oh no… he's going to take Sasuke's eyes!

[Raikage A]: So this is the real Uchiha power, huh? I could probably handle it.

[Ōnoki]: You talk too much, boy. You've never seen Uchiha Madara in action.

[Rasa]: Ōnoki, are you going to stop name-dropping him every five minutes?

[Pain]: Hmph. None of them could defeat a god like me.

Blood streamed from Itachi's lips.

His chakra was nearly gone.

Every step looked like agony carved into motion.

Sasuke hurled a kunai. Itachi raised the Yata Mirror, and the explosion bloomed harmlessly against it.

Then—his hand rose again, trembling, the same gesture as always.

[Sasuke]: My eyes… what are you—?!

He backed up, trapped against the wall.

Paper bombs—useless.

The Kusanagi Blade—deflected.

Finally, Itachi stood before him.

He raised one bloodstained finger, the same one he used when they were children.

"…Foolish little brother."

A gentle tap—on the forehead.

Warm. Familiar. Heartbreaking.

And then—

Itachi collapsed, body hitting the wall with a dull thud before sliding lifeless to the floor.

Sasuke's breath hitched.

Thunder roared outside; rain turned black with Amaterasu's flames, circling him like a shield.

He fell beside his brother, exhausted and shaking.

From the watching crowd came chaos.

[Pain]: Sasuke… defeated Itachi?!

[Deidara]: Meaning Sasuke's stronger than him? No way!

[Hidan]: Nah, dude was holding back hard.

[Itachi]: …

And in the shadows of the rain,

a faint smile lingered on Itachi's still face—

the peace he had chased finally brushing against him.
