Chapter 50 - Obito vs. Four Kage?! One Man, Four Shadows, One Shocked World

[Mitsuki]: "The monster inside Lord Seventh is terrifying."

[Sarada]: "I read this in the archives—the strongest of the nine bijū is the Nine-Tails."

[Boruto]: "Then which one's the weakest?"

[Kagura]: "Uh… the One-Tail? It only has one tail…"

[Shukaku]: "???"

Inside Gaara, a certain sand raccoon exploded.

[Kurama]: "Heh. Face it, flea-bag. Weak is weak."

[Shukaku]: "Say that again, you overgrown fox mop!!"

[Himawari]: "So the big fox and the tanuki aren't friends… got it."

Naruto's golden arms shot through the fading glare, hands clamping five, six mountainous necks at once. The world watching collectively choked—Lord Seventh was manhandling six bijū like he'd grabbed a bundle of balloons.

In the instant his claws touched the chakra stakes, Naruto's mind plunged into that quiet inner space—faces, voices, names of the Tailed Beasts and their hosts rippled through his thoughts. Understanding clicked. Chains of control shattered.

High above, Obito's single eye narrowed. "So you can harmonize with the Nine-Tails… but that mode won't last." His hands came together.

The Gedo Statue roared. Six iron chains burst from its maw, whistling across the air and snaring all six beasts at once. A heartbeat later—gulp—they were dragged back and swallowed whole.

Obito glanced down, mask canted in disdain.

Naruto steadied, palm at his stomach, a crooked grin forming. "Too late for 'same as before'. Someone just told me a whole lot of names I won't forget."

[Sarada]: "Can Lord Seventh actually win this?"

[Boruto]: "Old man… you better."

[Itachi]: "Watch closely—the golden cloak just dropped."

[Obito]: "Tch. A rabble."

[Naruto]: "A what now?"

Naruto-in-training, reading the chat in the present, blinked.

[Sakura]: "Naruto you dunce—'rabble' means a disorganized crowd that can't achieve anything together."

[Sasuke]: "Hn. Figures."

[Boruto]: "Didn't you say you were a model student at my age?"

[Shikamaru]: "..."

[Sasuke]: "Naruto… you sure about that?"

[Ōnoki]: "Focus. He's absorbed all six. What's next?"

[Madara]: "If he's not a fool—Ten-Tails."

"Ten… what?!" the new generation echoed.

Obito's plan was laid bare: revive the Ten-Tails, cast Infinite Tsukuyomi. Protect the Gedo Statue at all costs.

Team Naruto reached the same conclusion. Destroy the statue, stop the moon's eye plan.

[Boruto]: "Uncle Obito, aren't you nervous? It's four-on-one!"

[Sasuke]: "If I were there, I'd end him on a whim."

[Itachi]: "Little brother… even I couldn't end Obito 'on a whim.'"

[Sasuke]: "..."

The ground trembled. The statue's many eyes cracked open.

"Soon," Obito said, voice like a winter blade. "The world won't need heroes. Everyone will dream forever."

Kakashi and Gai exchanged a look; Naruto's jaw set. "I've got a dad. A mom. And a pervy sage who believed in me. My dream is to surpass every Hokage—and I promised to rip your mask off."

Gai laughed softly. "Dreams are meant to be lived, not slept through."

Kakashi nodded. "We do this together."

Naruto blurred forward—Rasengan howling—

and Obito casually snapped open the Uchiha war fan, Gunbai, batting Naruto out of the air like a golden comet.

Even in KCM, most ninja couldn't have reacted. Obito hadn't even used Kamui. His base combat speed and power were already super-Kage.

Naruto cratered into the distant ridge.

Obito raised the Gunbai over his shoulder and planted himself before the statue. "From now on, no one lays a finger on the Gedo Statue."

Pebbles, boulders—entire slabs of stone—rose and hovered around him under the statue's gravity surge, orbiting like grim moons. The presence he exuded hit like a wall; even the chat fell quiet.

[Mei Terumi]: "Why is he… kinda handsome like this?"

[Kurotsuchi]: "The mask gives pressure."

[Darui]: "How do they win against that?"

[Sarada]: "That fan—Gunbai—is an Uchiha relic, right?"

[Izuna]: "Behold your clan's heritage, little ones."

The new gen could only gape. Uchiha weren't just strong—they were stacked:

Shisui's Kotoamatsukami, Itachi's divine artifacts, Fugaku and Izuna with Mangekyō, and Indra looming like a 400-meter myth.

[Random student]: "What if the weakest Uchiha is… Madara?"

[Another]: "And Sasuke vs. Madara—who's weaker?"

[Class]: "Probably Madara!"

Somewhere, history sighed.

Obito vs. Four

The battlefield split. Naruto, Kakashi, Gai—and Bee regrouping—rushed Obito from four points, while support units pushed on the statue. Obito didn't retreat. He advanced.

Gunbai met kunai; chain met fist; space warped, then snapped back. Obito flowed between solid and intangible with surgeon's precision—Kamui only when lethal, taijutsu and fan-deflections for everything else. His timing shaved atoms.

Kakashi's Sharingan flickered—calculating the one frame Obito must be tangible to strike. Gai's stance dipped—Blue Beast ready to shed his limiter. Naruto's aura rekindled—Kurama snarled in sync. Bee's eight tails curled, blades humming.

Obito's eye spun once. The air tightened.

The Gunbai's vortex counter hurled Naruto's Rasengan back into a rock wall; a chain whipped for Gai's ankle; Kamui's spiral snapped open behind Kakashi's back—got you—

And Kakashi disappeared… into Kakashi's own Kamui.

[Shikamaru]: "He warped himself with his Kamui to ghost through Obito's Kamui window. Troublesome genius."

[Minato]: "That's my student."

Naruto crashed back in, Bee's blades crossed, Gai's kick scissoring through the chain. For a heartbeat, Obito was forced into full solidity. Four shadows converged.

He still didn't flinch.

Gunbai swept a hurricane arc that blew Bee sideways; Obito's palm parried Gai's ankle mid-air; his heel checked Naruto's charge; his free hand flicked a black rod—aimed like a sniper—straight at Kakashi's collarbone.

Clang!

Kakashi's kunai deflected it by a hair. Blood beaded anyway.

"Even four won't be enough," Obito said, voice steady. "Not before the Ten-Tails wakes."

The statue's eyes brightened, one by one, like stars igniting in a corpse-moon.

[Kushina]: "Obito… please."

[Minato]: "Turn back."

[Rin]: "…Were you trying to stop war, in your own way?"

[Obito]: "Rin… I—"

The name pierced him deeper than any kunai. For an instant, the fan trembled.

Naruto saw it. So did Kakashi.

"Obito!" Naruto shouted. "You're not a mask. You're a shinobi who was loved. If it's peace you want—we make it awake."

Obito's eye hardened; the tremor vanished. "Dreams don't betray you."

"Real friends don't either," Kakashi answered, raising his headband. "And I still have one to save."

The Gunbai spun once more, Obito shifting stance—a different rhythm, heavier chakra, something new threading into the statue behind him.

Stone floated higher. The sky dimmed.

From the statue's maw, a roaring pulse rolled across the battlefield—raw, ancient, hungry.

[Ōnoki]: "No way… at that pace—!"

[Itachi]: "They're out of time."

[Guy]: "…Kakashi."

[Kakashi]: "I know."

Guy's foot slid back. The air around him warped with heat.

Eight Gates. A door creaked in his bones.

Kakashi gritted his teeth. "Not yet. Give me one more shot at that timing."

Naruto drew in a breath, golden light building again—

Kurama's snarl rising to a war-drum.

Obito stepped forward through the halo of drifting stone, the single Sharingan like a blood-red comet.

"Try and stop the dawn," he said.
