The Marines' ship loomed closer.
Noah leaned on the Scarlett Horizon's railing, smirking.
"Well," he said lazily, "looks like we have visitors."
Emma's eyes widened. "Visitors?! Noah… those are Marines!"
Noah yawned. "I know. That's why I want you two to have some fun."
Amy blinked. "Fun?!"
Noah smirked. "Exactly. Just… don't die. And don't any bones."
Emma groaned. "Oh, of course… I get to fight a Marine Admiral. No pressure at all."
Amy crossed her arms. "I call dibs on crushing whoever is first."
Noah tapped a finger against the railing. "Actually…"
Before either girl could ask what he meant, the air around them shimmered. The world seemed to twist for a fraction of a second, and then.
Blip.
They were standing together on the deck of the Marine ship.
Emma staggered. "WHAT— HOW— WHERE ARE WE?!"
Amy spins around. "Noah! You can't just teleport us onto their ship! We're surrounded!"
Noah grinned. "Relax. Just… fight."
The Marines' Vice Admiral stepped forward.
"You… how did you?!"
Noah leaned against a railing, hands in his pockets. "Funny story. We're here now. So… what's your plan?"
Emma drew her blades. "We're outnumbered! And you just… dropped us here?! Are you insane?!"
Amy growled. "This is suicide!"
Noah smirked. "Call it… aggressive initiative. And besides, I wanted to see how well you two can handle yourselves."
Emma groaned. "Handle ourselves?! You teleported us into the middle of a Marine ship!"
Amy hissed, glaring at him. "Seriously, Noah. You could have just waited for them to attack us normally!"
Noah chuckled. "And miss the fun? Not a chance."
The Vice Admiral raised his hands, and the wind around him thickened, whipping the deck violently.
Emma muttered, "Yep. That's a Logia… wind-based."
Noah smirked faintly. "Use Haki. That's what it's for."
Emma clenched her teeth, activating Armament Haki. Her blades shimmered black as she struck at the swirling air.
"Beast Haki." Amy said activating her beast aura.
Noah leaned casually, watching with amusement.
The Vice Admiral vanish into his wind form, striking at Emma from multiple angles. She dodged, countered, and slashed, embedding Haki into her blades.
Amy growled, leaping like a lion, claws slicing through Marines.
Noah grinned. "See? This is why I brought you here."
The Vice Admiral roared, swirling all the wind into a massive tornado🌪. Emma and Amy prepared to be swept away.
Noah's hand flicked subtly. "Vector Shift."
The tornado momentum altered, throwing the Vice Admiral off balance. Emma and Amy exchanged a startled glance.
"What just happened?!" Emma asked.
"Did he…do something?!" Amy said confused.
Noah smirked. "Keep attacking. I've set the stage."
Emma charged, spinning her blades that are equipped with Armament Haki. The blades clashed with the tornado. Amy leapt in, aura blazing, claws glowing with Haki. Their combined assault tore through the Vice Admiral's defenses.
"No… this… cannot be…" he muttered.
"Yes, it can! And you're about to find out!" Emma shouted.
Amy clawed again, sending him skidding across the deck.
Noah watched from a few feet away, leaning casually against the railing.
The Vice Admiral tried one last desperate move, twisting wind into a massive funnel.
Noah raised an eyebrow. "That's your cue, girls."
Emma and Amy exchanged a glance, then charged. Emma spin midair, Haki blades tearing the wind apart. Amy leapt, aura flaring, claws striking. Their synchronized attack shattered the Vice Admiral's defenses.
With a final, coordinated strike, he collapsed, unconscious. The remaining Marines drop their weapons and jumped overboard.
Emma dropped, panting. "I… I can't believe we defeated a vice Admiral."
"You didn't even help us… seriously Noah." Amy said clearly upset.
Noah leaned back, smirking. "Told you. I just set the stage."
Emma groaned. "You teleported us onto their ship and watched. Why?!"
Noah shrugged. "I enjoy watching chaos unfold. And you two… did great."
Amy laughed. "Yeah, great. Almost died, but sure, 'great.'"
Noah smirked. "Exactly. Now… let's get back."
Blip⚡️.
They were now back on the Scarlett.
Emma sat down on the deck. "I swear… I hate you sometimes."
Amy crossed her arms. "I'm never letting you teleport me anywhere again."
Noah laughed. "Relax. You survived, didn't you?"
Suddenly a Sea King surfaced nearby.
Amy groaned. "Oh great… Another Sea Kings"
Noah smirked. "You'll get used to it."
Emma muttered, "I don't think I ever will…"
Amy, ignoring them and ran to the kitchen. "Breakfast is ready and Noah go wash your hands first Now."
Somewhere behind them, a Marine ship regrouped, reporting.
"The… Destroyer… Noah… is in the New World. I repeat the destroyer is back…"
