What should I call this, extreme happiness? or....am I just in another world?
"We've been staring out for a while now, do you want to tell me what's wrong?"
Draken's awfully been quiet and it's not like him. Something's definitely wrong with him.
Was it the issue concerning Sera Dave? About the mansion? About the fire?
"It's David, he was here" he softly replied after what seemed like an eternity, tightening his arms around my waist.
"I'm so worried.....he might do something to hurt you because of me," he added.
He's very worried I know, and I can understand why. From what I've heard about him from Draken, he's very dangerous and he'd do anything to ruin his brother's happiness....but the tables must be turned, David won't always have the upper hand.
And besides, I'm not a little girl he needs to watch over every now and then.
"Hubby, you don't think I can protect myself? I've faced worse situations than this one, I'm not afraid, so you don't have to worry so much about me,"
David wasn't that much of importance in my life or his, why did we have to adjust how we live because of one man who doesn't deserve to be called a man.... but a monster.
I won't allow this! But even after saying that, Draken's mind was still not in place.
I turned and as tall as he was, looked him straight in the eyes and crossed my arms on my chest.
"Draken Hunt, unless you want a divorce, don't use that kind of face around me. I won't hesitate to divorce you"
This was the only was I knew to get him to snap out of it. He hates that word.
"Honey, I'm sorry....." He tried to apologize but I cut him off.
"You know what....get out of my office! I don't want to see that face of yours!" I said, pushing him out of my office.
"Honey, Emma...."
"Wife, honey! Emma! Find someone else to call all those!"
With that, I slammed the door on his face.

"Emma...hear me out" Draken tried opening and knocking on the door again, but Emma had locked it. The two had turned the office into their battlefield..... bickering like they were in their home.
Shaun and Joyce watched on the sidelines.... Joyce giggling unexpectedly....Shaun still wearing his cold expression but surprised as well.
'The big boss had been kicked out by his precious wife...his queen.."
Only his wife would treat him that way, if it were anyone else... they'd be signing their own death sentence.
"Boss, is everything alright?" Shaun worriedly asked.
"Isn't it obvious Shaun, they had a couple's fight" Erick said.
The look Draken had on his face said it all.
This was their second couple's fight....the first one was when he lied to her and Emma found out about everything..... demanding for a divorce from him.
It's always his fault by the way.
"Boss, for as much as I know, mere words can't pacify and angry lady like Mrs. Emma, what you need to do is apologize"Erick added.
He was right about it, but the last time Draken tried apologizing....he merely went crazy when Emma rejected everything he did for her.
Apologizing to his wife would be the most difficult task for him to accomplish.
What was he going to do this time for her to forgive him?
"Erick, let's go...." Draken simply said before walking away towards the elevator.
MEANWHILE....
HUNT MANSION..
"David, why did you bring me here?"Sam asked, as soon as David parked his car just outside their mansion.
"We'll soon be married Sam, and this will be your home.... that's why I brought you here" David confidently replied.
That wasn't her first time there anyway. Since childhood she'd been coming to that place.... playing with the little Draken who she fell in love with.
Back then that Draken was kind, very sweet and caring towards her like a sister, no wonder she became so obsessed with him....but so many things had changed. That Draken no longer existed.
He was never coming back.
Draken was now a married man, and so in love with her elder sister.....she didn't stand a chance of getting him back or even being with him.
She was stuck with David....the one who loved her at the moment.
Yes, she always came second to Emma in everything....from being second to her in birth, in beauty, in having the most number of suitors, in Draken's eyes....no wonder she disliked her.
Even now she was the first to marry into the Hunt family, and she'd come second to her again.
"It'll soon be my home, but we aren't officially married yet, I want to enter that house as a real daughter there..."Sam said.
And what did David want? For her to stay there like she was homeless?
Yes her home was burnt down, but at least her parents would still do everything to put a roof over their daughter's head.
"Are you worried about my parents, or....Draken?"David asked...his voice hinting a bit of anger.
He was well aware that even if she agreed to marry him, her heart still belonged to someone else.
Just the mere thought of Sam leaving him again for Draken stirred up anger within him. He was so jealous of his little brother.... having everything despite not working for it like him.
"It's not about your parents or your brother, it's about the little dignity I have left after becoming a disgrace in the entire city.."Sam sadly replied...with tears filling her eyes.
She had to accept that her sister had won that round.
The more sad she became, the angrier David became. His grip tightened on the steering wheel.... Draken had turned their lives into some kind of joke.
Disrupting his wedding....just to stage his own, taking his place in everything.....he made him lose face in the entire city in the name of revenge and still wasn't satisfied.
What was he plotting to do next?

Upto now, I'm still wondering how Sera Dave came to confess of something she clearly didn't do...why?
Is this another way she wants to use to get back at me? That woman is always up to no good.
"Earth to Emma, I've been calling you for the fourth time now, what are you thinking about?" Ruby asked.
She'd come to see me but I almost forgot she was even here.
"Nothing, it's just about work.."I replied.
"Em, Erick told me about the fight you and your darling husband had"Ruby said.....and a flashback of what happened this morning came back to me.
"Yes, and I'm still mad about it"I replied, staring at the beautiful jasemines blooming at the corner of my desk.
The last time we fought, he filled up Ruby's house with these same flowers as an apology, which was pretty nice. But now, I don't find that pretty nice anymore.....even if he filled them in this entire building.
"You two will seriously be the death of me..." Ruby complained.
She's always caught in the middle..... like last time, even now.

"What exactly made you mad, what did he do?"Ruby asked.
"He values his worries more than he does me....and it hurts that he does!"Emma sadly replied.
Seriously.
Ruby had been working peacefully at her workplace...until Draken personally made an appearance at the café...just to ask for her help.
As much as Draken didn't like Ruby, he had to swallow his pride for the sake of his happiness, his marriage was on the line here...and only Ruby could help him.
"Since your work for the day is done like mine, why don't we go somewhere.....just the two of us?"Ruby asked.
"Where should we go?"Emma asked.
"Just trust me....."Ruby simply replied dragging her out of her office....with Shaun following closely behind them.
Like the good bodyguard he was.
Emma couldn't even suspect a thing. She played her part very well.
THAT SAME NIGHT
"Ruby, I don't understand... what's the news of the blindfold"Emma asked curiously after they'd both entered the elevator of the tallest building in town.
"It's a surprise Em, you said you trust me...so just do whatever I ask"Ruby replied.
Not wanting to argue, Emma wore the blindfold.
The elevator took them to the top most floor....before the rooftop.
"Slowly..."Ruby said softly as she helped Emma walk out of the elevator.
"I hope I won't regret coming here with you Ruby"Emma said.
Slowly by slowly, Ruby led Emma to where her husband was already waiting for her....
"You can now take it off Em"Ruby said.
As soon as Emma took off the blindfold, her eyes
landed straight on Draken standing before her.
"What's this?"Emma immediately snapped.
To her surprise, looking around, Ruby was nowhere in sight, it was just her and Draken.
Ruby the traitor!
"What do you think you're doing Draken Hunt?"Emma angrily asked.
Using her best friend to drag her all the way to where they were, Draken Hunt was really capable.
Handling his wife's tantrums in such a way.
"Honey...just please listen to me, only once...please"Draken pleaded, reaching out to hold her hands.
"I don't want to listen to you..."Emma snapped again, turning to leave.
Draken didn't wait for another second, he grabbed her hands and carried her over his shoulder.
"Let go! Le go of me!"Emma tried to protest, but compared to Draken's strength...she wasn't even trying.
Draken carried her to the rooftop and only put her down when she was where he needed her to be.
"Draken Hunt! I...."Emma was ready to tell at him, but what she saw next left her speechless.
Draken Hunt had prepared a night helicopter just for... and that's when she remembered how she'd always wanted to fly around the city at night, see the stars at a closer range.
But only two people knew about that, so how did Draken find out.
"Mrs. Emma Draken Hunt, would you mind joining me for a ride?"Draken softly asked... extending his hand for her.
Emma gave in, they both entered the helicopter and set off for the sky.
"Wow! This place is so beautiful at night..."Emma thought to herself staring out the window.
Draken simply gazed at her enjoying herself...he had another surprise.
As soon as the helicopter reached the center, the whole city... including all the tall and most expensive buildings lit up with her name and pictures.
She was shining.... everywhere.
Not only that, midway through the air be gave her the gifts he'd prepared just for her....that were worth millions.
His continuous actions left Emma stunned. He did this all....just for her. Everything he went through just to make it perfect...just for her.
"I'm so sorry Emma, I was wrong not to trust you...this helpless man cannot live without, and I'll do everything just to make you forgive me, don't be mad anymore....please"Draken pleaded for forgiveness.
"If it's still not enough....I can still do more for you.."
Emma didn't understand, what more could he possibly do for after such an expensive apology.
A billion dollar apology.
"You really are crazy....."Emma said before pulling him close and kissing him.
Her husband's love for her knew no boundaries...it had no limits.
