After dinner, since Ree's family hadn't returned yet, Auntie Ran (San's mother) invited everyone to stay and keep the house lively. She pulled Sun aside, playfully tugging his ear, demanding to know why he dared come to Siem Reap without telling her. Sun just smiled and hugged his mother, teasingly saying he wanted to surprise her.
As Auntie Ran went to clean up, kan helped her while questioning San: "Why didn't you tell me from the start that you lived right next to Ree?" san insisted he had no idea. Kan just looked at him with narrowed, suspicious eyes.
Suddenly, a car pulled up it was Ree's family. Kan and Sina immediately rushed out to see, leaving Auntie Ran confused. San stayed back to talk to his mother, while kan told Auntie Ran they had some "business" to settle at Ree's house.
"Hello, Ree!" Sina's voice rang out. Kan was walking with Hav, Sina, and see ree. They greeted Ree's parents politely before asking for a moment with Ree outside. Hav, uninterested as usual, headed inside to rest. Ree's parents were curious about what they had to discuss, but Hav just shook his head, claiming he didn't know.
"Why haven't you replied to my chats? Do you have a new account?" kan asked. Ree gave a cynical smile and asked what they wanted.
Kan didn't hold back. "Hana found out her account was hacked a long time ago. She never chatted with you! Was this your plan? Did you frame yourself as a victim by hacking her account or did you have someone do it for you?"
Ree's expression went flat. "I only did what Senior Hana told me to do. Whether it was hacked or not, I don't know. I just followed instructions."
"And why did you follow hana?" Kan stepped closer, her voice low and sharp. "Don't use the 'respect for seniors' excuse. You planned this just to get close to Hana."
Ree sighed, looking away. Kan was about to say more when Sina interrupted. "Wait… did you get close to Hana for someone else? Or maybe…"
Ree laughed. "You two are great at making up stories." He turned to leave, but stopped dead when Sina mentioned a specific name: Sara.
"Sara is so beautiful, who wouldn't love her?" Sina teased. "She's a 'fan' of Hana, right? But is she a true fan? We'll find out soon. I like to dig deep."
Ree reacted instantly. "President! I didn't realize you hated Sara just because she took your Rank #1 spot. Is that why you're making this up?"
Sina smirked. "Oh? You react so strongly to Sara's name? My grades are my lifeblood and right now, I'm hunting a rat."
The next day was the final day of the Khmer New Year. Auntie ja and Uncle Vira took the kids out. Hav was forced to tag along to avoid kan reporting him to his Grandmother. He was visibly annoyed but stayed silent.
At the festival, they announced traditional games like sack racing and Bos Angkunh (tossing seeds).
As they watched, Auntie ja suddenly asked: "So, between san and Hav, which one is kan's boyfriend?" Both boys nearly choked, instantly denying it and claiming they were just friends. Auntie ja laughed, thanking them for looking after kan.
While Sina was cheering for the sack racers, her eyes caught something across the river. A cold smile spread across her face. She slipped away into the crowd, secretly following and snapping photos. It was Sara and Ree walking closely together. Ree was being incredibly attentive to her.
"No one acts better than this vile girl," Sina muttered. She then spotted the rest of the group: Miew, Tang, Lin, and tuna.
Sina returned to the group just as kan won a prize in Bos Angkunh. She was thrilled, but Sina leaned in and whispered what she had seen. Kan's eyes widened in shock.
Soon, Sara's group arrived at the same area. Sina spotted them from inside a restaurant and pointed them out as "kan's friends." Kan gave a forced smile. Outside, people were playing with soap bubbles and water cannons.
Sara was looking at some souvenirs when Sina tapped her shoulder. Before Sara could react, she was caught in a "group selfie" with kan and Sina.
"What are you doing?" Sara snapped. Sina smiled at Sara and Ree. "Just missing my classmates! I wanted to play a game. Look at these photos…"
Sina showed them the selfie, but then scrolled to the secret photos of Ree and Sara together. She began typing a caption: "Ran into classmates! Surprising gift: our Sara has a boyfriend!"
Sara's group tried to grab the phone, but Sina dodged them. Kan added, "Go ahead, try. I have the photos on my phone too."
The group was forced into a "game" organized by Sina.
Group 1:( San&kan)and(ree&miew) and tuna
Group 2:(Sina&Sara)and(hav&tang)and lin
Goalies (Hiders): tuna & lin
On the way, San asked kan: "What game are you really playing?" "I'm just unmasking a victim," kan replied. She noticed San was quiet and asked if he was okay. Before he could answer, someone playing with water bumped into San, sending him stumbling into kan. She nearly fell backward, but San caught her hand firmly. Kan was startled by the moment. Suddenly :
She spotted Hav and Tang walking quite a distance apart. She smiled from afar, tracking their movements. Hav was fully aware that they were being watched, but he was too lazy to care. He didn't even want to play the game, let alone protect Tang. He preferred to ignore the rules and simply admire the surrounding scenery.
It didn't take long for San and kan to close in and officially catch Tang. Tang was visibly fuming, frustrated that Hav hadn't made the slightest effort to help her stay hidden or escape.
Meanwhile, Sina wasted no time in grilling Sara. "So, when did you and Ree actually start dating?" she asked pointedly.
At first, Sara refused to answer. But seeing that Sina wasn't backing down and knowing that the scandalous photo would be posted if she kept quiet she finally broke her silence. "We aren't 'dating' like that," Sara hissed. "Do you even know what Ree is like? After he helped me, he started making these insane, creepy demands. I had no choice but to agree to be his girlfriend. I didn't know what else he might do!"
Sina looked at her, unimpressed. "Has your mother stopped comparing you to Senior Hana yet? Are you happy now?" Sara froze for a moment, staring at Sina. "What are you talking about?"
Sina acted as if she hadn't even asked the previous question. "People like Ree will do anything for the person they secretly love. Are you really that oblivious, or are you just pretending not to notice his feelings for you?"
Sara laughed in disbelief. "Don't you know how much I despise people like Ree?" She didn't want to argue further and demanded that Sina delete the photo. Sina completely ignored the request, which only made Sara's blood boil. Just then, some fans spotted Sara. Captivated by her beauty in person, they came over to ask for photos, leaving Sina to stand back and watch with a mocking smile.
On the other sides, kan playfully asked Tang, "Do you happen to know when Sara and Ree became a couple?" Tang just stared at her blankly, refusing to utter a word. Kan didn't push her; she was satisfied just by teasing her.
Meanwhile, miew was also irritated. She was angry that Ree had remained silent earlier instead of denying the relationship. Ree, already annoyed by kan's schemes and now miew's complaining, he turned to miew with a cold, low voice. "People can stop loving just as fast as they start," he warned. "You should be careful. Even if Sina doesn't expose us, I might just lose my temper and reveal everything myself."
"You're insane!" miew whispered harshly. "You're clearly trying to hurt Sara. Can't you see she's in trouble? Are you just a parasite clinging to her?" Ree didn't care. No matter how bad things got, he would just keep denying everything and acting normal it was his specialty, after all.
Back at the base, tuna saw kan and san arriving with Tang in tow. She looked up and smiled at kan. Kan returned the smile, but internally, her mind was racing. What is tuna hiding? Based on what Sina had said, there was something deeply wrong in the relationship between tuna and Sara. Kan was determined to find out, but she knew she had to be patient.
Eventually, Ree and miew arrived, bringing Sara with them. Since Sina hadn't cared enough to stop them, she let them "capture" Sara just to end the game. Sina chuckled to herself. The three rats are finally back together. Not as fast as I thought.
Since kan's team won, she announced the prize. "When school starts, Sara, you have to treat Sina and me to a meal. This sounds isn't a request it's a penalty."
Sara clenched her teeth. "kan, I thought you hated bullies who threaten people. Aren't you doing exactly that right now?"
Kan smiled back, her eyes cold. "It doesn't hurt to punish someone who refuses to acknowledge right from wrong. If you ever realize your mistakes, feel free to let me know."
As she spoke, kan kept her eyes on tuna, who was smiling weakly. It was clear that tuna was desperate to get away from Sara's circle. Before they parted ways, kan leaned in and told tuna to take care of herself. Tuna's forced smile told kan everything she needed to know the real drama was far from over.
