In the endless cosmos, there was a place where even light itself feared to reach it.
There existed nothing and absolutely nothing, no living beings, no stars except for the dark emptiness, the Void.
No one knew when it was born or created, it was simply existing for an unknown amount of time from the creation of the Universe.
And within that empty Void, laid something darker, something primal, the Void Energy.
This energy was responsible for the creation of the creatures that defied human reasons, beasts whose very presence should have been rejected by universe itself.
Yet, they still existed, they were called the Void Creatures.
They spread across the universe like a plague, attacking the worlds invaded by void energy and conquering it and making it their own.
They plundered the planets and merged it into their realm, the Void Realm.
Countless living worlds fell down. Millions of civilizations vanished in the passage of time. Even the strongest beings of the remaining worlds trembled at the thought of them.
And yet, among those countless ruined worlds, one world was able to resist them. That planet was called Prymia.
These creatures might seem like beasts, but no, the more powerful ones also had sentience.
That's what made them more dangerous and something to be feared.
And then one day, this Void Energy reached a planet called Prymia.
The energy caused the beings of the planets to evolve; not even animals were spared. But the humans, they didn't submit to that raw corruption and evolution.
They evolved by consuming the Void energy and making a safe path to evolve further.
But humans, as always, carried their greed more fiercely than their strength. With power came chaos.
Nations started to crumble beneath the pride of the strong ones; greed turned homes into graves.
Who would care about the lives of ants?
Obviously, no one. It was just a difference of being on another level of power, and even if void energy couldn't corrupt the humans, it didn't ever need to because the humans were always corrupted beings who succumbed to their greed.
Yet what no one had foreseen was that Void Energy's descent upon Prymia was not the end of the planet, but a new start.
Because thirty years later, those same Void Creatures followed the Void energy and reached it.
They invaded the planet, were unstoppable and infinite in number but what even they didn't expect was they were held back by a light blue and vast mysterious barrier around the solar system of Prymia.
Still, the weaker ones still managed to pass through it and when they descended on the planet, rivers of blood flowed on the ground.
Humanity fought, and for the first time, they united against the void beasts.
Not for power or greed, but for the survival of their family and themselves.
It was in this burning world that a child was born. Asterion.
He was born in a humble family on the outskirts of the continent, a borderland village far from the shining cities, this was where the "useless" lived, the ones too weak to matter.
Until one night, everything changed.
