Chapter 16 - 16

The moon was dark and the wind was high; it was a perfect night for murder.

Shen He, holding Violet's small hand, arrived near a warehouse in the outskirts of New York early with Saiki Kusuo.

He was a bit nervous, and also a bit excited; it was his first time doing something like this.

"The S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents haven't arrived yet?"

Shen He reached the agreed meeting point and looked around, but saw no one.

"She's already here."

Saiki Kusuo's gaze shifted to behind an abandoned shipping container.

Anyone with internal psychological activity could not escape his detection.

As if knowing she had been discovered, a slender, graceful figure emerged from her hiding place.

Leather clothes, a slender waist, fair skin, and a tall, voluptuous figure.

"So it's you," Shen He smiled slightly.

The famous Black Widow, Natasha Romanoff.

She was indeed beautiful and captivating, even more mature and charming than the actress in the original World's movies, but unfortunately, she wasn't his type.

Shen He preferred soft girls.

"You really know a lot of things," Natasha swayed her slender waist as she walked over, extending her hand to Shen He. "Natasha Romanoff, tasked with assisting you in completing the mission."

Shen He also extended his hand to shake hers, and he suddenly felt her pinky finger seemingly brush across his palm, intentionally or unintentionally.

He gave Natasha a thoughtful look and withdrew his hand without hesitation.

Little trick, I've been single for so many years, relying on sheer willpower. I firmly refuse to eat food that doesn't suit my taste, no matter how delicious it is.

"Tell me the specifics of the mission," Shen He turned to look at the warehouse exposed in the bright light on the other side. "That must be the mission location, it looks like a bunch of gangsters."

"The gang is just a facade."

In just a second, Natasha dropped her smile. She pulled out a tablet from behind her back, which displayed the entire layout of the warehouse.

"From here to here, it's all just an external facade. On the surface, it appears to be just a warehouse for the Japan Yamaguchi-gumi's New York branch, but here," Natasha drew a circle in the center, "the defenses are extremely tight. There are at least a hundred fully armed special operations personnel and fortress-level defensive facilities. We suspect it's the entrance to an underground secret area."

Shen He looked at the layout on the tablet; the area marked as the center was almost densely packed with red dots representing enemies.

Not to mention many places were specifically marked with red labels like "heavy machine gun" and "grenade launcher."

"If you've found out so much, there's clearly a problem here," Shen He couldn't help but complain. "Wouldn't it be better to just launch a missile and blow this place to smithereens?"

"Our main objective is to find out the source of the weapons," Natasha shot Shen He a glare. "Do you think four hundred million U.S. dollars is that easy to earn? I've been an Agent for so many years, and my savings aren't even one percent of what you'll get this time."

"Alright, Qi Mu, what have you found?" Shen He looked at Qi Mu.

Saiki Kusuo's eyes had already turned into the cross-eyed state of Clairvoyance.

"There aren't that many people."

"What?"

Shen He didn't understand at first.

"There is indeed an underground secret space there, but both the entrance and the interior are only guarded by three or four people. I can directly teleport you in," Saiki Kusuo retracted his cross-eyes.

"Then what are we waiting for?" Shen He shrugged. "Let's go."

"Wait—!"

Natasha quickly stopped them. If there were only so few people, she would have easily snuck in last time; why would she need Shen He's help?

However, Saiki Kusuo saw clearly and directly teleported the group. The surrounding environment suddenly changed, and they were now in what appeared to be a processing plant.

The few remaining guards were knocked unconscious by Saiki Kusuo's psychokinesis before they could even make a sound.

The alarm here wasn't even activated during the entire process.

"Four hundred million U.S. dollars is indeed quite easy to earn."

Shen He lifted his hand to open a wooden box on the ground, which was filled with firearms and ammunition.

Was the mission already complete?

Sure enough, with Qi Shen at hand, the World was his.

"I need to hack into their central control system to find weapon transportation data."

Natasha found a computer and started working diligently. She didn't know what to say; the last time she came, the defenses here were a hundred times tighter than they were now.

She even suspected that news had leaked and the people here had evacuated in advance.

Shen He, having nothing to do, casually wandered around this slightly dark place. Suddenly, he discovered what appeared to be a large control panel.

Some broken cables and transmission lines hung loosely, many even flickering with electricity. He seemed to have seen similar things in Tony's laboratory.

"They're building Tony's battle suits!" Natasha suddenly stood up from the computer behind him. "This isn't a weapon warehouse; this is an experimental Base. They've found someone who can build Tony's battle suits."

—!"

Shen He's eyes widened.

Ivan Vanko! He's teamed up with HYDRA.

—Not good!

"Damn it! It's Tony's birthday party!"

Shen He directly waved his hand, and the massive body of Shinkirou appeared directly in this confined space.

Instantly, alarms blared, but he couldn't care about that anymore.

Because Ryougi Shiki was still at the Villa where Tony was holding the party!

"Qi Mu, you take Violet! We're going back immediately!"

After giving an order to Qi Mu, Shen He directly entered the mecha.

This mecha had been modified by Tony; its internal operating system was now the same as the Mark battle suit, unable to accommodate a second person.

Boom—!

A fierce blaze erupted from the warehouse, and the massive mecha burst from the flames into the sky, jets of Fire propelling it forward into the distance.

Qi Mu, with Violet, followed closely behind. Although their flight speed was slightly inferior, with the addition of teleportation, they could keep up.

Shen He now had only one thought in his mind.

Shiki-nee absolutely must not be harmed!

Meanwhile, at Tony's Villa, Tony was wearing his battle suit, standing on stage, singing and dancing.

Music and the screams of beautiful women filled this dazzlingly lit place, and Tony was thoroughly enjoying it all.

"Ladies and gentlemen," Tony shouted into the microphone, "Do you want to see a mecha battle? Do you?"

"Yes—!"

The beautiful women invited below enthusiastically waved their arms.

"This is today's most exciting event! I, Iron Man, will have a man-to-man showdown with Mech Man!" Tony, quite drunk, swayed his body and suddenly saw a bright flash of Fire in the sky. He immediately broke into an excited smile. "He's back! Cheer, ladies, the showdown is about to begin!"

"No, sir, that is a Viper missile," Jarvis's voice sounded. "I advise you to leave immediately."
