Chapter 30 - 30

Tony, although a scientist, was also a businessman.

So he knew very well how to maximize profits and guard against competitors, and even prying eyes from congressmen.

"It sounds like you already have a complete plan," Shen He said, looking at the newly built factory. "Then I just need to lie down and count money."

"Lie down and count money?" Tony didn't understand the Chinese joke, so he looked disgusted. "Do you know how dirty money is? Money in hand is just a pile of waste paper. Alright, I knew it, you don't understand how to be a rich man at all, that's why you stay in your room all day with your wife and children."

"Perhaps you are right, but I have no wife and no children," Shen He said, spreading his hands. He had indeed been a bit down lately.

"That's not important," Tony clasped Shen He's shoulder. "You should be glad you know me. I dare say, no rich man in the world knows how to enjoy life more than I do. So today, I'm going to teach you how to be a rich man."

Shen He looked at the beaming Tony, and he admitted, he was indeed tempted.

Since the Thor storyline ended, he realized that he really didn't know what else he truly wanted to do besides gacha pulls.

Earning money was just a necessity, grinding dungeons only took an hour a day, and the next storyline wasn't starting that quickly. Ultimately, Shen He was just an office worker who was a bit of a homebody, and after deciding to abandon a normal life, he had no idea how to live an extraordinary one.

Perhaps, experiencing what it felt like to be a rich man wouldn't be bad.

So the convertible supercar roared once again. Tony sped to two hundred miles per hour on the highway, and Shen He, like a good-for-nothing rich second generation, stood on the seat, shouting and laughing into the wind, enjoying the thrill of high-speed travel.

What should a top-tier wealthy person who knows how to enjoy life look like? Tony told Shen He.

It was about being cool.

The coolest clothes, the coolest sports cars, the coolest beautiful women.

This was no longer just a question of having a lot or a little money, but a lifestyle; it was about enjoying and showing off.

Buying clothes meant buying out the entire mall.

Buying sports cars was as simple and willful as buying toys.

Later, Tony even took Shen He to buy an entire brand-new, medium-sized detached Villa.

Wherever they went, the two of them were the focus of everyone's attention. Shen He was a bit unaccustomed to it at first, but soon, he became like Tony, holding his head high, and began to enjoy the gazes of others, because everyone, even with envy, jealousy, or even curses, would ultimately be shocked by their extravagant generosity.

That whole day, Shen He finally experienced the feeling of watching those nouveau riche spend wildly on live streams.

Just a little bit of money that they didn't care about could make a lot of people excited or even frantic, such as the current pool party.

Casually tossing his newly bought watch into the pool, numerous beautiful girls in bikinis splashed up sprays of Water, screaming, tearing, and scrambling, their fair bodies almost blinding people's eyes.

"How does it feel, my friend?"

Tony, with two beautiful women in his arms, walked over amidst the deafening rock music and shouted close to Shen He.

"I feel like a super vulgar nouveau riche!" Shen He shouted back, then took a big gulp of champagne and couldn't help but laugh, "But it's definitely awesome!"

That's right, it was awesome, something Shen He had never experienced before.

He could disregard everything, think of nothing, just throw money around, and a crowd of people would gather around him to share in the excitement.

"Hahaha," Tony also laughed, "Have a good time, there's another surprise for you later, I promise you'll like it."

By this time, night had fallen. Shen He didn't know what time it was, but subconsciously, he felt it didn't really matter; he was just indulging himself occasionally.

Meanwhile, in a hotel in Chinatown, Ryougi Shiki and Violet were staring at each other.

"Can you let go?"

Finally, Ryougi Shiki couldn't help but speak.

Because if she didn't say anything, Violet might keep tugging on her sleeve all night.

"Master, where is he?"

Violet stared at Ryougi Shiki, her head tilted up.

"He went out." Ryougi Shiki found it a bit hard to look at that innocent gaze. "It's no use even if you ask me."

"Night, it's dark."

Violet still spoke with some difficulty, but concisely conveyed the message.

"Find, find Master."

"Huh? How can we find him?" Ryougi Shiki took out the phone Shen He had given her. "The phone isn't going through either. Can't you just go to sleep obediently? Maybe you'll see him when you wake up."

"Can find him."

Violet still held Ryougi Shiki's sleeve tightly with one hand, while pointing in a certain direction with the other.

"...Your bond points are already that high?"

Ryougi Shiki suddenly thought of a possibility. According to the information in their minds, if a Servant's trust in their Master was high enough, a mysterious connection could even form between them.

"Find Master, find Master, find Master," Violet repeated in a flat tone, like a broken record.

"Are you taking advantage of me? I'm also a victim." Ryougi Shiki was speechless, and finally could only stand up. "Alright, let's get you changed first."

From the looks of it, if they didn't go out and find Shen He, Violet would bother her like this all night.

Ryougi Shiki wasn't naive enough to think Violet would get tired after a while like an ordinary little girl. She could only take some cash from the drawer, then led Violet out the door. Having lived in modern society before, she knew how to hail a taxi, and the hotel had its own drivers and vehicles.

Just as they walked out of the hotel, in a high-rise residential building across the street, a man in a Black suit took out his phone.

"Target Three and Target Four appeared alone. They got into the hotel's Black Bentley."

"You continue to watch the hotel."

"Yes!"

At the same time, several vehicles parked around also started up, following closely.

On the other side, Shen He finally saw the gift Tony had prepared for him: a tall, fair-skinned young woman with delicate Eastern features, wearing a purple bikini.

Shen He had to admit, this indeed suited his aesthetic, mainly because of her graceful temperament.

"Let me introduce you. This is Dr. Zhao Hailun, and this is Shen He, my biggest business partner." Tony winked at Shen He.

"Hello, actually Tony is mistaken. I'm still just a doctoral student," Zhao Hailun extended her hand generously to Shen He.

"You seem very unaccustomed to this."

Shen He's head was still a bit dizzy from the alcohol, and after shaking her smooth hand, he felt even dizzier.

"Actually, Tony said he would invest in my project if I attended the party," Zhao Hailun indeed looked quite helpless. "I originally didn't want to agree, but my doctoral advisor agreed for me."
