Chapter 24 - Chapter 24: The Young Man Has No Martial Virtue!

Alistair was playing a racing game while holding the Red-Haired Girl, Rei Waseda, and feeling the soft, rich texture of her melon-sized tits. Although Rei was slightly resistant, her fear of Alistair made her obediently cooperate, letting him fondle her prized assets at will.

The gang members observing nearby found Alistair's current behavior sharply contrasting with his image: a cute, innocent-looking student in a school uniform and black-rimmed glasses. They dismissed his actions as a dark eccentricity. To them, this student was, at most, a petty troublemaker—nothing to worry about.

They had seen all sorts of wild young people. Having worked there for so long, they had even seen people arrive wearing collars. When humans suppress their desires for too long, they become capable of any perversion, so the gang members were unfazed.

However, the way the woman was dressed was so provocative that they suspected she was a part-time prostitute. They reasoned that if they investigated and found she had no strong connections, she could easily become a "missing person." Someone so attractive and well-figured would be perfect for presenting to a superior or filming adult movies. All they needed to do now was observe, then wait for the research team's report.

Beep—

The gang leader with a Bluetooth earbud received a message from his team...

Hmm, gum too? Alistair felt a small pocket on the Red-Haired Girl's clothes and found some chewing gum. Even better. Chewing gum would make his image as a "weak, easily defeated street punk" even more convincing.

Predictably, as Alistair took out a piece of gum and chewed it ( ̄~ ̄) during a break in the game, a group of men in black suits and dark sunglasses began to appear and move toward them.

A leader among that group, a man whose face was covered on both sides by blue-purple tattoos—a pattern Alistair couldn't decipher—walked up to Alistair, who had turned to face him. The man had tattoos, so he was likely the boss of this crew, possibly governing this entire section of the commercial district. The rest of his men were clean-cut, confirming the tattooed man's status.

"Young man, we would like to invite this lady to have a chat. Don't worry, we won't interrupt your gaming. As compensation for the inconvenience, you can play games all day for free." The Tattooed Gang Leader placed a hand on Alistair's right shoulder. His tone was gentle, betraying no hint of his underworld affiliation.

Alistair tilted his head and glanced at the men behind the leader. The suited underlings subtly lifted the sides of their jackets, revealing the hilts of the katana swords hanging from their waists.

Gun control was strict in this country, but the regulation of bladed weapons wasn't as severe. Even the Yakuza preferred not to cause too much trouble; the police would still have to arrest them, at least overtly. Thus, they preferred a "peaceful" solution.

Generally, these students would meekly comply, too scared to resist. The Tattooed Gang Leader expected the same result this time.

"Sō ka su ne (I see)~"

Alistair looked enlightened, which the Tattooed Gang Leader took as the expected response. He was about to order his men to take the woman. Her willingness? He didn't care.

Rei Waseda stared blankly at the scene, unable to believe Alistair was compromising.

In this country, the status of women is extremely low. Even with superficial efforts at equal rights, things essentially remain the same.

Pat.

The Tattooed Gang Leader, just about to call his men, looked confusedly at Alistair, who had slapped his hand away. He wondered what the student was doing.

"Tanga, kotowaru! (But, I refuse!) What I like most is saying No to self-important people!"

Alistair looked sideways at the Tattooed Gang Leader with a look of utter disdain.

"Young man, you should think carefully. Can you handle my men? I advise you to save your strength and not refuse the polite offer, or you'll be punished."

The Tattooed Gang Leader narrowed his eyes behind his sunglasses, his threat obvious. He didn't want to use the blades; they were for intimidation. Using them in a fight would result in death or permanent injury, which was a huge hassle. But that didn't mean they couldn't deal with the problem. With so many men, a simple fistfight could kill a master. No matter how good Alistair was, could he beat all of them?

"What if I don't think carefully?"

Alistair crossed his legs, deliberately lowering the hand that had been resting on the Red-Haired Girl's shoulder. He gripped a soft mound with a slight squeeze, eliciting a tempting whimper from the Red-Haired Girl. He then flashed a provocative smile and raised an eyebrow.

"Do you have more people?" Alistair asked casually, looking at the dozen or so thugs.

"Heh, I can call fifty more, but to deal with you, this is enough... Puh-oh—"

The Tattooed Gang Leader sneered in response, only to be struck by a sudden pain in his stomach. He realized the student had ambushed him, and why was this student so strong?

Holding that confusion, the Tattooed Gang Leader was sent flying several meters by Alistair's punch, knocking down several unmoving thugs who were caught off guard. The others scrambled to help the leader up.

This guy really had no defenses.

Alistair was somewhat surprised. This guy was a Yakuza leader, yet he was so naive?

I clearly signaled I wanted a fight, and he still stood right in front of me, making threats. Was he begging me to hit him? He didn't understand the concept of a pre-emptive strike. What kind of gangster was he?

Is this the simplicity of 2D reality? Alistair mused.

"You... Cough, cough... You lack martial virtue... to deceive... to ambush! You little brat, you'll regret this! All of you, attack! I want him to spend six months in the hospital!"

The Tattooed Gang Leader, supported by one of his men, continued to spout threats. He still showed some restraint. If he ordered his men to use the swords, it would be extremely messy. He preferred the police to deal with them. But if they actually used the blades, Alistair would show him what real cruelty was.

This guy's physique is pretty good. Alistair slightly twisted his neck, preparing for the fight. He thought about how the other thugs and the biker leader had been crippled by just one punch, yet this Tattooed Gang Leader was only pale. Perhaps... I can use a little more force?

Alistair smiled, subtly increasing his power output. He stepped hard with his right foot, using the counterforce to instantly close the distance to the three nearest thugs. His right hook, already prepared, struck like lightning, heavily injuring the first guy and sending him flying several meters. Alistair then twisted his waist, using the momentum to sweep his leg across, kicking down two more thugs.

Whoosh!

Several more thugs rushed forward. Alistair swiftly twisted his body, dropping his head down, supporting himself with his hands, and spreading his legs into a full split, spinning around to sweep all the surrounding attackers off their feet.

Alistair finally stood up after completing a full rotation in that pose, kicking down everyone who rushed him.

Alistair dusted off his trousers, walked over to the Tattooed Gang Leader, grabbed his collar, lifted him directly off the ground, and pulled him close to his face. Alistair snatched his sunglasses and met his gaze.

"Now, do you still want to call for backup, little shrimp?"

The Tattooed Gang Leader shook his head, his eyes filled with fear and resentment. Alistair looked on with amusement. He hoped the gangster would call for more people so he could beat them all up, seize their territory, and walk away with both the cash and the turf. Wouldn't that be sweet?

"Excuse me, sir, I am the owner of this arcade."

A middle-aged, chubby man walked up to Alistair with a slightly comical gait.

"May I ask, will you be taking over this place now?"

He looked at Alistair, who was holding the Tattooed Gang Leader, with a nervous, apologetic expression.

"Huh? What do you mean?"

Alistair tossed the Tattooed Gang Leader aside, clapped his hands, and looked at the owner, waiting for an explanation.

"It's like this, sir. If someone defeats the local head of the protection racket, they can take over the territory. The shop owner pays protection fees, and the local head is responsible for handling troublemakers."

The arcade owner rubbed his hands together, looking nervously at Alistair.

"That sounds great. I'll take it. But for now, I'm booking this place until tonight. You don't have a problem with that, do you?"

Alistair glanced at the trembling Red-Haired Girl hiding in the distance, suddenly feeling a surge of arousal.

"No problem at all! Rest assured, sir! I will lock the main door, clear out these people, and the surveillance room is right inside. You can operate it anytime. Please wait a moment!"

The arcade owner followed Alistair's gaze to the Red-Haired Girl, understood immediately, and swiftly made the necessary arrangements.
