Chapter 187 - Chapter 187: Sayuri Takamine's Request

"Speaking of which, this should be roughly equivalent to the complete version of [The World], shouldn't it? Its inherent strength is sufficient, and I have the [Pocket Watch]'s Time Stop, which happens to be five seconds. It's perfectly tailored for this."

Alistair compared the abilities to the memory of DIO's powers. He found that the abilities he currently possessed could almost achieve the same effects: the combination of [The World] and Time Stop, coupled with his own self-healing and powerful physical fitness, was an incredible match. If a few righteous individuals were targeting him now, it would truly be a script come to life.

Of course, Alistair did not possess DIO's exaggerated muscular physique and sinister aura. On the contrary, the words that could be used to describe Alistair were probably... tall and refined? In any case, the difference in physical appearance was quite significant.

By the way, why did I suddenly get a 'Stand'? I don't seem to have acquired any other items, nor did I get it through the [Acquisition] ability. Was it something I already possessed, and I just met the conditions to activate it now?

Alistair made a casual guess and stopped thinking about it. Alistair was currently being targeted by some unknown entity. No matter how it came to be, as long as it could tangibly and effectively help him, that was what mattered.

And now, Alistair could think about where he should 'lodge' tonight.

"Koyasu-kun, why do you look so listless? Have you been drained dry?"

In the Student Council office, Alistair was slumped over his seat, spacing out, when a voice, seemingly calm but hinting at mockery, interrupted his thoughts.

"With my physical constitution, how could I be drained dry? If I played unrestrained, they'd be the ones unable to come to school. By the way, how do you have time to tease me, Sayuri-senpai? Is your work done?"

Alistair lifted his head to look at the source of the voice, completely unfazed by her taunt, and retaliated with a few barbs.

"Almost. It's not busy every day. But the few days after the inspection period will be busier. As for these days, I suppose you and Hatsufuji-senpai are the busiest."

Sayuri Takamine straightened the documents in her hand. The slight curve of her lips showed the girl was in a very good mood.

"It doesn't matter. The only person those people care about is Shizuku-senpai. It makes no difference when I show up. Constantly hovering there would only arouse suspicion."

Alistair looked indifferent. His identity had not been fully revealed yet; only the handful of people in the higher echelon knew he would take over the Accountant position later. Even if someone were to ask... oh, no one dares to ask anyway.

Alistair's 'legend' had already spread throughout the school. It had evolved from him being a big Yakuza boss's son to the heir of a super-powerful family in the city, only here to 'undergo a trial' but still able to command his family's subordinate forces. As for his visible girlfriends, Mina Morita and Kasumi Haruno, they were merely Alistair's 'mistresses,' and his legitimate wife was the daughter of some other great power...

In short, these tales about Alistair's 'legend' became increasingly bizarre, but even more ridiculously, they were actually believed. Even some teachers knew about Alistair, the 'Young Master.' While the teachers didn't believe the most outrageous 'heir' claims, they still thought Alistair had a powerful background, so they became even more hands-off regarding his actions.

In other words, Alistair could probably skip school, and the teachers, adopting a less trouble, the better mentality, would still give him passing grades or even full attendance.

While the reality was quite different, since it brought him convenience, Alistair simply tacitly accepted the situation. At the same time, it also caused some peculiar misunderstandings, such as the one held by the seemingly aloof senpai in front of him.

This Sayuri Takamine-senpai seemed to want Alistair to use his connections to smooth things over so that the Gymnastics Club could participate in competitions. The Gymnastics Club had apparently become too weak, and the higher-ups simply cut their future competition opportunities because if they couldn't win awards, there was no need to allocate so much funding.

Other sports departments generally had several strong representatives, such as Fuku Ikeda from the Judo Club, the 'Black Tiger Afu' Alistair had encountered before, who, as he bragged, was one of the club's top talents. The Aikido Club's President En and Hikari Matsuda were also skilled, consistently placing in the top three in competitions, so they received substantial funding.

As is generally known, resources should be used where they matter most. The higher-ups were not stingy; for them, trading money for reputation was a sure profit. But the Gymnastics Club, well, apologies, apart from Sayuri Takamine herself, the members were just hobbyists who wanted to practice posture and physical fitness. They only sustained their interest for three minutes a day, practicing some basic moves and not wanting to progress further, as it was indeed quite tiring.

Sayuri felt that Alistair's 'deep background' should make it quite easy for him to secure a competition opportunity for her. However, she didn't know how to ask. After all, if she borrowed Alistair's connections, she couldn't just get it for free, could she? That was definitely out of the question. Moreover, she heard that people from big families had fierce internal struggles and were highly cunning, so Sayuri Takamine had been struggling with how to approach the subject.

Currently, the clearly known hobby of Alistair was beautiful and curvy girls. On this point, Sayuri Takamine was quite confident. Although her large breasts were not as exaggerated as those other girls' F or even G cups, she was at the forefront of the E-cup level. Additionally, her beautiful physique and excellent flexibility, gained from practicing gymnastics since childhood, allowed for more varied positions. These were all her advantages, but they were useless; she did not intend to offer herself.

While she had a good impression of Alistair, it didn't mean she would have to sacrifice herself to him to get what she wanted. It was just that she couldn't think of any other reward valuable enough to offer Alistair right now. So, even though she initiated the conversation, she couldn't bring herself to state her request.

"Takamine-senpai?"

Alistair saw Sayuri Takamine suddenly stop talking mid-sentence, looking spaced out, so he called out softly.

The sound brought Sayuri Takamine out of her thoughts. After giving Alistair an apologetic smile, she slowly started tidying the documents on her desk again, though she was now somewhat distracted.

Alistair saw that Sayuri Takamine had no intention of continuing the conversation, so he didn't try to force it. Instead, he stood up, intending to go out for a walk.

He wasn't just aimlessly spacing out here. He had already figured out where he should 'lodge' tonight. Since he wasn't sleepy now, it was the perfect time to go find that person.
