Chapter 1 - The story would burn

The face of the little boy stared off into the distance. His cute appearance contrasted greatly with the turmoil in his heart. Shin, whose soul had just entered the body of a 3-year-old boy, still could not accept the reality that he was now in a different world.

It took a week in this new world before Shin could finally calm down a little. He began to organize his memories from the time he lived on Earth. The world he was currently in was actually the fantasy world from a novel titled "Saint Path With Love."

The novel told the story of a woman who was forced to love an evil and weak king, though she had long been in love with the king's most loyal knight. In the end, the king was killed by those who opposed him due to his cruelty.

Before he came into this world, he had always hated the main villain of the novel the very person he was now. Arlod, the cruel and weak king. But after being transported here, his perspective began to change.

During the week he spent in this world, he started to feel the treatment Arlod had received from his family. His mother and father had never cared about him. And once Arlod's memories began to merge with his own, he could feel just how miserable Arlod's life had truly been.

Arlod had a grandfather, a mother, a father, and an older brother. However, Arlod's parents only loved the older brother. To them, Arlod was not truly part of their family. He was born a twin, and his twin sister was the one they had been eagerly waiting forbecause his mother had always longed for a daughter. But during childbirth, it was Arlod who survived.

To make matters worse, his father saw Arlod's frail condition as a burden. He required too many medical expenses and brought shame to their noble household. Arlod's mana was so weak that he couldn't even use it, and that alone was enough for his family to consider him a disgrace.

When the memory of Arlod's grandfather surfaced, tears slipped down Shin's cheeks before he even noticed.

Just as in the novel, the only person who had ever truly loved Arlod was his grandfather. Until the very moment Arlod ascended the throne, it was his grandfather who protected him, who shielded him, who gave him everything even his life.

Shin remembered that scene vividly.

In the novel, Arlod had coldly refused his grandfather's final request to see him.

And even when the old man's head was severed from his body beneath the executioner's blade condemned by Arlod himself the grandfather's last thoughts were still for Arlod's safety.

What a cruel story it had been.

What a tragic love.

But now that Shin lived in this body, he finally understood. He understood why Arlod had grown to resent the very man who loved him most.

Because the love of his grandfather had become the reason his parents despised him.Because the affection he received became the dagger that others used to turn everyone against him.Whispers filled the estate, poison slipped into the halls lies, jealousy, and cruel tongues shaping a boy's heart.

They taught him that love was disease.

They taught him that loyalty was a chain.

And a child starved of warmth learned only how to hate the hand that tried to save him.

Shin wiped his tears.

No, Arlod wiped his tears.

From this moment on, there was no Shin and Arlod.

There was only him.

The boy who had fallen from one world into another. The boy who inherited grief, hatred, and a name drenched in tragedy.

He inhaled slowly the air was cold, but his resolve burned like embers under his skin.

He would not repeat Arlod's fate.

He would not allow the story to chain him.

For the first time, his voice rose inside him quiet, but sharp as a blade drawn in the dark:

""No one will escape my hands…"

The words did not need to be shouted spoken softly, they carried the weight of fire.

"For this one love… I will rewrite the ending they never expected. If anyone dares to lay a finger on him"

The vow echoed like fire awakening.

He would protect the only heart that ever beat for him.

And those who mocked him…

Those who called him weak…

Those who watched him suffer with smiles carved on their lips…

He would not forgive. Let the world think him fragile. Let them believe him broken.

They would soon learn.

The abandoned child is no longer helpless.

The forgotten heir has awakened.

And the story ... would burn.
