Alaric caught the arm that was aiming at him and punched the man on the side of his face. The man disappeared right after the punch and appeared a few meters from him stumbling.
Alaric flicked his wrist and the whip wrapped around the man's neck and slammed him down.
The man disappeared again and appeared on his side , he punched Alaric on his stomach but Alaric side stepped the punch and kicked him on his back.
This time the man didn't vanish. He hit the wall with the sickening thud groaned. Alaric pulled him back by the hair and punched his face over and over until it was too bloodied.
" Stop," the woman's voice shouted before Alaric felt his body being pulled down as though the gravity had increased.
He leg of the man and turned to her. He tried to step forward but his body couldn't move. It was as though something was pressing down on it.
He watched as the woman walked towards him with a smile curved on her face.
