Chapter 52 - 52

Of course not." Charles shook his head idly and said to a group of students, "Today we are welcoming Mr. Watson's visit, so lunch will be more abundant."

All the children cheered and jumped up.

Storm also stepped forward at this time, shook hands with Watson, and said, "The lightning ball just now was very beautiful~ I'm Ororo Munroe."

"Hello~ I'm Watson Dialante, just now--- I don't think it counts for much in front of you." Watson couldn't help but shake his head and smile bitterly when he heard this. The woman in front of him was Storm, a being who could control lightning.

Ororo shook her head and said as she turned to leave, "That's different. I envy that you can emit lightning from within yourself, while I don't have that ability."

Logan walked over at this moment, a cigar in his mouth, and raised an eyebrow at Watson: "Hey buddy, after we're full and had our fill, want to have a match?"

"A match?" Watson's eyes lit up with excitement when he heard this. This was another restless spirit.

"Of course! But do we need to tell Professor Charles?"

"It's fine, I've already mentioned it. But my abilities might be a bit different from yours." Logan smiled and walked inside.

"By the way, Logan, Professor Charles said you're the new teacher?"

Logan turned and nodded, saying, "That's right, I've probably been here for a few months? I can't quite remember, I don't like time. But not long ago, we just sent an old man who could easily manipulate me to his exclusive prison."

An old man who could easily manipulate Logan? Magneto?

As everyone sat in the dining hall eating, Professor Charles suddenly asked, "Watson, are you interested in teaching these children? I think you'd be perfectly suited for it."

Hearing Charles' invitation, Watson was silent for a moment before saying, "I'm not entirely sure. I'd be very willing, but I don't always have time.

And teaching isn't something that can be completed in a short time.

"That's a shame, but if you're willing, you can guide these children whenever you come."

"Of course, Professor, and the food here is really great---"

Soon, a pleasant lunch for both hosts and guests concluded.

No one knew who heard it or who spread the word, but all the children found out that their mentor Logan and the Flame Knight were going to have a fight!

This was truly a rare treat. A group of curious children gathered and sat at the edge of the training ground, practically just missing popcorn and cola.

"Come on, Watson, for fairness, you can use your lightning or fire abilities, or both, because my abilities are uncontrollable." Logan, wearing a military green vest, stood opposite Watson and said.

Watson shook his head, indicating it wasn't necessary.

Just as the two were in a stalemate, suddenly, they both charged at each other!

"So fast!" Jean, as a key researcher for the X-Men, naturally paid close attention to Watson.

They both simultaneously clenched their right fists. However, Watson's speed was clearly faster, with a slight footprint at his starting point! This was the X-Men's training ground; if it were made of ordinary materials, it would be constantly getting torn apart.

Bang bang! Although Logan's speed wasn't as fast as Watson's, his beastly instincts allowed him to throw his punch earlier. Both hit the other's side face at the same time!

Unfortunately, when it came to strength, Watson far surpassed Logan!

Watson took a punch, his body involuntarily twisting to the side, dissipating the force.

But Logan was directly punched flying, landing on the ground 4 meters away, yet he stood up as if nothing had happened.

Logan touched the corner of his mouth; there was a small cut, but it quickly disappeared: "Buddy, you've got some power, but next time it won't be so easy!"

Watson shrugged indifferently.

"Superhuman speed, and superhuman strength, plus lightning and fire? His abilities are too perfect. And he also has that armor, I don't think that armor is just for decoration." Jean sighed repeatedly, causing Scott, who was beside her, to pout.

At this moment, Logan initiated another attack, but this time, Logan changed his fighting style! With his centuries of combat skills and beastly instincts, he always managed to dodge Watson's punches at crucial moments. Logan wasn't foolish; they weren't enemies now, so they wouldn't fight to the death like they would against foes, and with so many children watching, losing would be too embarrassing!

Their fight was like the agile Ip Man fighting the heavy-hitting Tyson, except Watson seemed to be the Tyson—whoosh~!

Logan dodged another heavy punch. Just as he was about to attack the ribs, his instincts suddenly blared a warning—he'd been tricked!

Thud! Suddenly, he felt a punch, stronger and faster than before, land on him.

He was directly knocked to the ground by one punch. Although he quickly got up, it was clear he had already lost.

Meanwhile, Watson was secretly chuckling. He had deliberately held back some strength and kept attacking, waiting for Logan to get used to his attacking rhythm before suddenly unleashing his full power! He knew the character of this proud old wolf very well. This was just a spar, not a mortal enemy. After falling this time, he should concede. Logan wasn't someone who couldn't let go.

As for revealing his adamantium claws and going all out—Watson, with a stack of trump cards, truly wasn't afraid of him.

"You're strong, buddy, I lose---"

"We tied, Logan. With your abilities, you wouldn't lose. In a spar, I just had an advantage, didn't I, hahaha, let's go~"

Logan grinned when he heard that and walked with Watson towards Charles and the others.

"That was truly excellent. In a moment, we'll be going to teach the children. Logan will take you to the guest room to rest a bit. Of course, you're free to walk around and explore here." Charles clapped as the two approached, then turned to the group of curious children and said, "Alright, children, it's time for your classes."

The children reluctantly left the training ground, while Watson followed Logan inside.

"It's been a long time since I've had such a satisfying fight after the last one. If we have time, I think we can spar without holding back." Logan said, leaning against the door after showing Watson to his room.

"Of course, there will be opportunities in the future."

Watson watched Logan leave, then lay on the bed. He soon felt bored and got up, intending to go for a walk.

Walking into the courtyard, Watson suddenly saw a shimmering figure sitting by a small bridge not far away---painting?

Upon closer inspection, he realized that the person was Colossus!

Colossus was intently painting. As if hearing the sound behind him, he turned around and said somewhat shyly, "Sorry, Mr. Watson, I didn't greet you earlier. It's because I haven't finished my work yet. I'm Piotr, just call me Colossus."
