Prologue — When the World Shattered
Long before the Awakened drew their first breaths, the world had already broken.
Nobody could say when it began. Perhaps it was a war among gods, perhaps the earth itself grew tired of bearing life. Whatever the cause, the result was undeniable: creation cracked apart.
Continents no longer sat upon seas. Some floated like islands above the abyss, chained by fragments of stone. Others sank into pits of black water, their ruins barely visible beneath endless waves. Oceans twisted into spirals that swallowed themselves. The sky bled strange lights, constellations blinking out only to flicker again in different places.
The laws of nature were no longer law. Fire burned without heat. Winds screamed without end. Water climbed upward, vanishing into the void between stars.
And in the chaos — evil thrived.
It did not crawl from shadows or rise from graves. It was the shadow, the grave, the silence between dying breaths. Born from despair, the corruption took many shapes: beasts of claw and fang, wraiths of smoke, soldiers carved from the bones of fallen realms. They did not build or rule. They only consumed.
Civilizations collapsed. Empires became memories. Survivors clung to scraps of land, too scattered to unite, too frightened to hope.
Hope… the most fragile flame.
But flames, even faint ones, are stubborn. From the ruins came whispers of individuals who were different. Stronger. Resistant to despair. They carried within themselves something not seen since before the shattering: Will.
They were not gods. They were not chosen by bloodline, nor gifted by ancient relics.
They were simply… Awakened.
Echoes of their names pierce the sky, tales of their actions became legends among the towns peeps. With no mouth to tell, with no body to show, they fought againts the dark and bring light towards glimmer of hopes.
And among them stood one who did not speak, who carried no banner and wore no crown. His silence would echo louder than any war cry.
The penical of the awakaned
The one name even gods fear
The one survivors that would be remembered only as—
Prime.
