Chapter 18 - The Will Eternal

While prime and the others went away, Omega was left alone at the base, instructed to do nothing, and nothing he does.

The room grew tired of silence and screams out a warning of a high energy receptor nearby. With no one else to go nor object his ongoing, he decided to take a closer inspection at the site.

Omega was led yet again into silence as he see nothing at the site, but "nothing" has turned into "something".... Or someone?

In the corner of his eyes a glimmer of light spat out through a reflection, noticing the slight change of the light he dodges the incoming strike of the ambush Made for him. He was outnumbered and yet he still takes a stance, ready to give it his all.

"This is not my first time being alone... And i know for a fact that this might be my last"

a strong Will beats many, but today, many beats the Will.

From a distance a sniper had taken aim into his head ready with a bullet in the Chamber.

With one gunshot ringing through the air. Omega was unable to dodge the incoming danger.

---

Death was quiet.

Too quiet for a warrior who had lived his life breaking the silence of others.

Omega's body lay still on a barren field scorched by the remnants of the Corruption. The air hummed faintly with static, as if refusing to accept that the storm had ended. His armor was shattered, his blade buried beside him — a monument to futility.

Then came the light.

Not sunlight, nor flame — but a line of pure radiance stretching endlessly above and below him, a path with no horizon. His consciousness floated within it, weightless, adrift between breath and void.

He realized: this was not heaven, nor hell.

This was the Domain of Will.

A figure stood at the end of the radiant path — tall, cloaked in shifting energy, its form neither man nor god but something older. Its voice reached him not through air, but through every pulse of his dying soul.

"You died trying to uncover a surface full of lies."

Omega tried to speak, but the words were torn away. The being continued — calm, almost mournful.

"You're a brave one… too brave.

So brave that even I, your own essence, envy it."

The realization struck him: he wasn't speaking to a stranger.

He was facing his own Will — the core of everything he'd ever been too stubborn to surrender.

"Your story should have ended here," the being said, raising a hand of pure light. "But purpose bends for those who refuse to break. And so… by all means, I shall grant you the power that was once bestowed upon you."

The path beneath Omega's feet ignited. Blinding symbols of infinity spiraled outward, forming a circle of eternal motion — the seal of the Mighty Will.

"OUR power."

The beam of light struck his chest, piercing through the void.

Lightning tore through the darkness, splitting the domain in two. Omega screamed — not in pain, but in revelation. Every scar, every failure, every moment of despair condensed into raw energy. His armor re-forged itself in arcs of white fire. His heart pulsed like a reactor.

"Be struck with Light's MIGHT…" the being roared, as thunder answered from beyond existence,

"AND RISE FROM THE DEAD!"

Omega's eyes snapped open. The path collapsed into his body, the entity's voice echoing one last time, fading into his veins:

"Be reborn… as MIGHTY OMEGA."

The field of battle trembled.

Lightning erupted from the ground where his corpse once lay, burning the clouds from the sky.

And there he stood — armor reborn, eyes white with energy, the storm itself kneeling before him.

The Will Eternal had returned.

And the heavens would never again be silent.
