Chapter 1 - Reborn In The Snow

Hospital Alarm

Beep... Beep... Beep...

The alarm tore through the silent hospital room, each piercing sound sharper than the last. Red lights pulsed violently, casting jagged shadows across the walls. The doctor sprinted forward, heart racing, as if the boy's life depended on every second-and it did.

"Stabilize his heartbeat-now!" he barked. "Bring the defibrillator, immediately!"

Clang... Clang... Clang...

The machine hummed, a harsh, metallic rhythm matching the frantic pace of the room.

"Come on... come on..." another voice muttered, desperation threading every word.

Clang... Clang... Clang...

"I'm afraid..." the doctor's voice faltered, "...this is a case of BID."

A nurse swallowed hard, fighting tears. "Ma'am... your son... he didn't survive the accident."

"No... no! That can't be! Alex! Alex!"

East Wing, Rosetta Mansion

Meanwhile, in the opulent East Wing of Rosetta Mansion, Duke Henry Rosetta paced slowly, a mask of composure hiding the worry in his eyes. Beside him, Duchess Leah sat with a faint, almost cruel smile tugging at her lips.

The Royal Physician cleared his throat. "Young Lord Alexander... he has broken mana pillars and a blocked mana flow. I'm afraid he may never use his mana again."

The Duke's jaw clenched. "Is there truly no hope?"

"There is a treatment," the physician said carefully. "But it will be slow, and there is no guarantee of full recovery."

The Duchess' smile melted into sorrow, her voice soft but layered with intent. "My poor Alexander... he had just begun to discover the rarity of his mana. Henry, we must start his treatment immediately. With enough support, he may recover faster than expected."
