In the darkest corner of the universe, where light never dares to pierce, and time itself seems frozen still — a massive ship floats, silent yet menacing.
Malebrandes-(マレブランデス, Mareburandesu), the command center of the Galactic Empire-(銀河帝国, Ginga Teikoku), towers like a living fortress that breathes hatred and ambition.
Here is where everything began.
The corridors of the ship echoed with the metallic march of mechanical soldiers.
Engines roared tirelessly, feeding power into the heart of the ship — a central laboratory buried deep within: the Main Headquarters, a forbidden chamber where only one being had the right to rule: Ultraman Belial.
The laboratory was silent, yet heavy with tension.
The air hung dense, veiled with the scent of metal and chemicals.
Dim red lights flickered across control panels and biological cylinders lined up in perfect symmetry.
There they stood. Two glass incubation pods, side by side, filled with glowing azure liquid.
One contained an embryo slowly forming into what would become Riku Asakura—Geed.
The other held a different body. Similar, yet not the same.
Its silhouette was faint, but the aura radiating from it felt... unbalanced.
Both were created at the same moment, yet they were never meant to be twins.
They were born of one will, one ambition, one madness.
Before them stood their creator: Belial.
His face was rigid, eyes burning crimson as he stared at the results of his experiment without hesitation.
Behind him, Kei Fukuide meticulously recorded every stage of development with devoted precision.
His fingers danced across the controls — screen after screen displaying genetic data, power simulations, and scenarios of inherited dominion.
Belial's gaze pierced the glowing capsule, his voice deep and resolute.
Belial: "Two vessels... not twins, yet born of the same will."
He raised his hand, fingertips nearly touching the glass, as though he could feel the faint pulse of life within.
Belial: "If one fails to inherit my legacy... then the other shall become the world's destruction."
Kei stood behind him, a sly smile half-hidden in the shadows.
Kei: "Ah... magnificent. Even in silence, their aura radiates... Like a living obsession, don't you think?"
He wrote something on his digital tablet, his tone filled with admiration, an elegant kind of madness.
Kei: "My Lord Belial, this one... its body is unstable, but the energy... pure. Perhaps it is more than just a successor..."
Belial smirked, giving no direct answer. His crimson eyes narrowed.
Belial: "I will not give it a name. A name... is a limit.
If it has the will, let it seize its own destiny."
Kei bowed slightly, concealing the mix of awe and fear that surfaced every time his master spoke, like a carrion bird waiting for its prey.
Kei: "A creation without a name... how grand its end shall be.
I can hardly wait to witness its destruction."
Outside the vast window of the laboratory, a cosmic storm slowly approached.
Lightning arced between stars in utter silence, as if blessing a creation destined to shake the boundaries of light and darkness.
And within the nameless capsule, something grew.
Not merely a body... but a destiny.
The destiny of a child yet unknown, who would one day carve their own path in a world defined only by two forces: light and shadow.
---
After creating two embryos within the incubation tubes, one destined to become Riku Asakura, and the other remaining nameless... Belial continued his ambition to conquer the universe.
Armed with the Giga Battlenizer-(ギガバトルナイザー, Giga Batorunaizā), and his armies of Legionoids and Darklops, Belial struck Planet Esmeralda, crushing its royal forces and claiming the planet as his own.
But his ambition did not end there.
Belial ignited the event known as the Crisis Impact — an apocalyptic catastrophe that occurred nineteen years before the beginning of Ultraman Geed.
Using the Giga Battlenizer, Belial detonated the Earth itself, creating a black hole that threatened to consume the entire universe.
Ultraman King intervened, reversing the devastation Belial had caused, but at the cost of his own being, leaving him unresponsive thereafter.
Yet even after that, Belial did not stop.
An alternate parallel version of Belial aligned himself with Tregear and Absolute Tartarus, forging an alliance with the Absolutians.
Together, they schemed to steal the Eternity Core and claim dominion over all creation.
But their plans were confronted by the Ultra Heroes, who stood against their darkness.
...
This meeting would become the turning point told in the first chapter—
where all who had once crossed paths with Ultraman Belial and Ultraman Tregear of the past...
would soon encounter their successors.
