Garcia' POV
I leave Chaim with Jeremy and bite back a grin when I hear him desperately asking Atticus for backup.
"What exactly do you mean by unofficially?" I ask the Warriors as I approach them.
"We sneak Jeremy food and water whenever we can, but it's not easy. There's barely enough for the rest of us, and Luna Heather watches everything like a predator. We manage to slip small portions out of the dining hall, and when we combine everything, it makes one decent meal for Jeremy." One of them explains.
Nancy is furious and wants to march straight back to the Alpha office to tear them apart. I wouldn't mind letting her loose, but not yet. Right now, I need answers, and hopefully these Warriors can provide them.
"Do you know what Jeremy was actually accused of?" I press.
I study their faces while waiting for a response, and the discomfort written across their features tells me everything I need to know before they even speak.
