Garcia' POV
"You holding up okay, Little One?" Collin asks as we walk out of the Pack-house, our Guardians flanking us with watchful eyes.
I glance at his shoulder where crimson stains his torn shirt. "I'm fine. Nancy handled everything while I watched from the sidelines." My fingers reach toward the wound, but there's nothing there except dried blood.
"Already healed, Little One." Dmitri surfaces enough that I can see him in Collin's eyes, that golden glow that means our wolf is close. "Had to patch up my human and make sure you were safe."
The bond between our human and shifter sides runs deeper than most people understand. When danger strikes, our wolves surge forward, healing and protecting without hesitation. Nancy has saved me more times than I can count, and I know Atticus experiences everything even while Dmitri works his magic.
