Jessica's POV
I froze in the doorway when I spotted them together. Bailey and Caleb were deep in conversation, and tension radiated from every line of my husband's posture. The furrow between his dark brows made my stomach clench with dread.
My pulse hammered against my throat as I took in that familiar look of frustration on Caleb's face. Without thinking, I strode toward them, my heels clicking sharply against the marble floor. The sound echoed through the conference room like gunshots.
Caleb noticed me first, but my attention remained fixed on Bailey. The bastard stood there with that infuriating smirk playing at the corners of his mouth.
"What the hell do you think you're doing?" I demanded, stepping between them so my back faced Caleb. My voice came out harder than I intended, but Bailey brought out the worst in me.
His pale eyes gleamed with amusement as he studied my face. "What does it look like I'm doing, Mrs. Dolf?"
