David's POV

Griffin locked eyes with Colter, neither man backing down from the silent standoff. Then my father let out a harsh laugh, settling deeper into his chair and spreading his legs wide in a display of arrogant confidence.

"And exactly how do you plan to accomplish that, Colter?" His tone dripped with mock indifference, but Colter maintained his composure with deadly calm.

"Simple," Colter replied, his voice dropping to a dangerous whisper. "I'll present them with concrete evidence of your betrayal and avarice. What you orchestrated with those company shipments months ago, right before this catastrophe began."

Caleb's voice cut through the tension like a blade. "Before my brother continues, I have to express my profound disappointment in you, Father." His words carried the weight of absolute judgment despite their casual delivery. I glanced between my brothers, completely lost. "Betraying an ally? That crosses every line, even by your standards."
