I pressed my mouth against Cornelia's as though this was our very first kiss, as though I had never held her body against mine before, never traced these curves with my fingertips.
That was precisely how this moment felt. Everything seemed fresh and electrifying. Everything except her essence, which remained beautifully familiar.
