Jessica's POV
I bit down on my lower lip before giving him a small nod. His insistence told me everything I needed to know about how serious this was.
His mouth found the sensitive curve of my neck, pressing gentle kisses that made my entire body tremble. The warmth of his breath against my skin sent shivers racing down my spine. God, I wanted those lips on mine instead.
"I need to hear you say it, Jessica," he murmured against my throat. "Tell me you understand."
"I promise, Caleb. I won't let you lose yourself completely."
Another kiss, then another, each one more deliberate than the last. My knees felt weak. "That's my girl. That's what I needed to hear."
Without warning, he shifted our positions, guiding me onto my stomach while he positioned himself above me. His strong arms braced on either side of my head, supporting his weight as he hovered over me.
