Chapter 14: Don't Kidnap Me, Because I Have No Morals!

[Energy Absorption EXP +1]

...

[Congratulations, Energy Absorption has leveled up!]

[Energy Absorption Lv.3 (1/1000): Can absorb most types of energy. Absorption speed and storage capacity are high.]

After Energy Absorption leveled up, Su Mu immediately felt a massive change.

First, the types of energy he could absorb increased. He could now absorb nuclear energy and even magical energy, which he couldn't before.

In addition, his energy absorption speed became faster, at least three times faster than before!

His energy storage capacity also increased threefold. He could now maintain Limitless Cursed Technique for at least half an hour, use Cursed Technique Lapse: Blue at full power more than 6 times, or Cursed Technique Reversal: Red at its lowest power 3 times!

From the information obtained from the character template, the lowest power of Cursed Technique Reversal: Red was at least twice the maximum power of Cursed Technique Lapse: Blue!

This not only meant more terrifying consumption but also more astonishing destructive power!

However, Su Mu knew that successfully unleashing Cursed Technique Reversal: Red before was a fluke. He probably couldn't succeed a second time.

Furthermore, the previous Cursed Technique Reversal: Red was incomplete, with a large amount of energy leaking and dissipating. If he used that version of Cursed Technique Reversal: Red, he would probably be depleted of energy after two uses.

So, before obtaining the experience and usage methods for Cursed Technique Reversal: Red through the character template, it was best not to use it.

Consumption was a secondary concern; it would be bad if the uncontrollably leaking energy hit his brain.

His current Reverse Cursed Technique hadn't reached the level where he could regenerate even if he lost his brain.

Besides the increase in energy storage, the acceleration of his energy absorption speed was also a great help to Su Mu.

If his calculations were correct, he could now withstand small-caliber rifle fire and completely absorb the bullets' kinetic energy.

This way, even without activating Limitless Cursed Technique, Su Mu no longer feared sneak attacks.

Unfortunately, the levels of his Limitless Cursed Technique and Reverse Cursed Technique were still too low. He didn't know what level they needed to reach to get to Gojo Satoru's level.

That state was where, with the Reverse Cursed Technique constantly repairing the brain, the Limitless Cursed Technique could be maintained for a long time and could automatically filter out threats.

And if the skill levels were raised further on that basis, he could even automatically filter out poison attacks, which Gojo Satoru couldn't, and perhaps even block spatial attacks!

As his skills continued to improve, he would surpass Gojo Satoru and reach a realm Gojo Satoru had never achieved!

Imagining the future, Su Mu felt excited. He even looked forward to activating a character template with plane-hopping abilities in the future and traveling to the Jujutsu Kaisen world.

Defeating the invincible Gojo Satoru using his own techniques would be an extremely interesting thing!

He continued to absorb electricity, replenished his body's energy, and pushed the template fusion to 27%, then left the sewer.

The sewer exit was in a secluded alley. Just as Su Mu was planning to go buy a new set of clothes, he suddenly saw a young woman staring at him in shock.

The young woman had green hair and looked dirty all over, appearing small and helpless.

Of course, that was just observation with the naked eye. If observed through the Six Eyes, one could discover the vast green energy hidden within her body, as well as the iron objects in the surroundings that were stirring restlessly.

Su Mu immediately recognized the young woman's identity: Polaris!

Polaris, Lorna Dane, was Magneto's daughter. She possessed the power to control magnetism. At her peak, she could even control the Earth's magnetic field, a powerful mutant no weaker than Magneto!

He hadn't expected to run into her here.

Su Mu found this a bit strange, but then he remembered that this universe wasn't any he knew, but an unknown parallel universe, and it immediately felt less surprising.

There were too many versions of the Marvel universes; nothing was strange.

Su Mu didn't plan to bother with Polaris, but Polaris clearly wouldn't let him go.

She recognized the man in front of her, called the most powerful mutant of this era by the media, the world's greatest threat, the White Demon!

Also called the savior and leader by mutants!

No matter the title, it represented that the man before her was extremely powerful, perhaps even stronger than her father, Magneto!

Seeing Su Mu leave, she subconsciously wanted to use her ability to stop him. She used her powers to twist a metal pipe fixed to the wall and send it flying at Su Mu, intending to block his path.

But...

Polaris stared in utter shock at the scene before her. The metal she controlled, upon approaching the man, suddenly became uncontrollable. It just stopped behind him, unable to advance even an fraction of an inch.

However, she wasn't disappointed. Instead, she was even happier. The stronger Su Mu was, the more likely he could lead the mutants to liberation from human oppression!

She had just begun to smile, wanting to say something to Su Mu, but the smile immediately froze on her face.

Su Mu slowly turned his head. His azure pupils held not a single trace of emotion.

Being stared at by those death-god-like azure pupils, Polaris immediately felt an immense pressure, as if the Grim Reaper had already placed its soul-reaping scythe on her neck, ready to harvest her soul at any moment!

Then, she heard an icy voice come from in front of her.

"Isn't it good... to just live?"

Hearing this whisper, which sounded like it came from the Grim Reaper, Polaris shuddered violently. She snapped back to her senses from her daze and immediately said:

"I mean you no harm! I just want to follow you, to fight the human government with you!"

But Su Mu gave no response. He walked slowly toward Polaris. His slow steps exerted an extremely powerful pressure on her, as if an unstoppable force was pushing her into the abyss of death.

Facing a mortal threat, she subconsciously used her ability, controlling a large amount of metal to attack Su Mu.

But all the metal objects stopped in front of Su Mu, unable to advance at all.

Only now did she understand the weight of the name "White Demon." The White Demon was completely different from any mutant she had known before; he was a terrifying power from another dimension!

Even though Polaris used all her strength, trying to stop the approaching Su Mu, trying to stop the approach of death, it had no effect.

Then, she was cornered against a wall by Su Mu. The powerful pressure pinned her to the wall, making her unable to move.

Su Mu used energy to strengthen his body, ignored Polaris in front of him, and thrust his fingers deep into the largest metal pipe. He then threw it forward.

The metal pipe was imbued with immense kinetic energy by the seemingly slender arm and embedded itself deep into the hard wall, right next to Polaris's ear.

"Beautiful young lady, this is a warning. Next time, your luck won't be this good!"

He then swiped his index finger lightly. The surrounding floating metal objects ignored Polaris's control and embedded themselves in the wall around her, encasing her.

Watching the white-haired man yawn, stretch his long legs, and walk away slowly, just as he had come, Polaris mustered her courage and shouted loudly:

"You're clearly so strong! You can obviously do so many things! You can save the mutants, so why won't you do anything!"

After a moment, just when she thought she had been ignored, she heard an unconcerned voice.

"Their suffering... what does that have to do with me?"

The white-haired demon in front turned his head back, revealing a devilishly handsome profile and deep, azure eyes. He smiled faintly.

"Don't try to guilt-trip me. Because I have no morals!"
