The next morning, the Wizarding World was abuzz. Both the Wizard Weekly and the Daily Prophet splashed the headline:
"Albus Dumbledore Becomes Minister of Magic!"
The news shocked and entertained wizards and witches alike. Everyone speculated on how the former Hogwarts principal had won the highest votes without campaigning or asking anyone.
Roy, however, was unfazed. He apparated to the Hogshead Bar, taking a seat beside Abeforth Dumbledore. The bar was quiet in the early hours, but the air seemed to buzz with curiosity about recent events.
Roy ordered his food and began explaining, "So, the Wizangmoth held a vote. Factions proposed candidates, and—"
Abeforth, mid-drink, nearly spat out his goblet when he heard the story. He burst into laughter, almost tipping over his chair. "You've got to be kidding me! Albus… Minister of Magic… without doing anything? That's… that's insane!"
Roy smiled, unfazed by Abeforth's dramatic reaction. "Not kidding. And I wasn't even expecting it. I almost lost it when I saw his expression."
Abeforth laughed again, slapping the table. "That's the weirdest way to become Minister ever. I can't stop laughing."
Roy finished his meal and bid Abeforth farewell, apparating back to France. Once home, he quickly sent letters to Nicolas Flamel, Pernal Flamel, Newt Scamander, and Tina Scamander, explaining Dumbledore's strange ascent to the Ministry.
After reading Roy's letters, each of them burst into laughter. They marveled at the absurdity of someone becoming the Minister of Magic without any hard work, sharing jokes and imagining the confused look on Dumbledore's face when he received the news.
Roy leaned back in his chair, smiling. Despite the chaos in the wizarding world, life had its moments of humor—and sometimes, those moments were legendary.
